Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a system for manufacturing an article. The system includes a first mold half and a second mold half. The first mold half and the second mold half define a molding cavity therebetween. The molding cavity is configured to receive two outer layers and a high viscosity material provided between the two outer layers. The system also includes an actuator configured to move at least one of the first mold half and the second mold half towards the other. The first mold half and the second mold half are configured to deform the high viscosity material in conformation with a shape of the article. The high viscosity material fills a space between the two outer layers such that the two outer layers encase the high viscosity material therebetween.

Abstract: This invention aims to provide a novel material to be used for the production of components used in the construction industry such as construction blocks, wall panels, floor and roof tiles, lintels and any other product that could use this novel material. The novel material is a paper concrete made with 50% to 90% of recycled paper in the base mixture. This invention also aims to provide a novel process for making a construction block with the base mixture of paper concrete. The process for making the lightweight building blocks with this paper concrete has three main steps with two stages each. The base mixture for the paper concrete is essentially interlinked with the process for making this construction block. The two first steps of the process are crucial to achieve the base mixture and the following step is crucial to achieve a construction block. Thereafter, there are possibilities for producing these blocks with different colors by adding pigment to the paper pulp at stage 1 and adding artistic molds to the molds on the block making machine in stage 6.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods for forming and adhering an entrained polymer structure to a substrate. The methods include providing a substrate configured to receive application of a molten entrained polymer. A 3 A molecular sieve entrained polymer in molten form is applied in a predetermined shape, to a surface of the substrate, to form a solidified entrained polymer structure on the substrate. The entrained polymer includes a monolithic material formed of at least a base polymer and 3 A molecular sieve. The surface of the substrate is compatible with the molten entrained polymer so as to thermally bond with it. In this way, the entrained polymer bonds to the substrate and solidifies upon sufficient cooling of the entrained polymer.
