Abstract:
A bicycle sprocket assembly comprises a plurality of sprockets and a first support element. The plurality of sprockets is arranged coaxially about a rotational center axis of the bicycle sprocket assembly. The plurality of sprockets includes a first sprocket. The first sprocket includes a first toothed ring and a first sprocket body at least partly disposed radially inwardly of the first toothed ring with respect to the rotational center axis. The first toothed ring is made of a first material. The first sprocket body is made of a second material that is different from the first material. The first support element extends from the first sprocket to a second sprocket adjacent to the first sprocket in an axial direction with respect to the rotational center axis. The first support element is made of a first additional material that is different from the second material.

The invention is directed to a heat shield structure (8) for a wheel (1) which comprises a base structure (11) that is at least partially made from a composite material. The heat shield structure (8) is arranged on the base structure (11) and is at least partially covering the base structure (11).
Abstract:
A commercial vehicle wheel cover including a wheel cover assembly having at least two hinge points, at least two handles, and at least two cam latch mechanisms. The wheel cover assembly has a front side and a back side, with at least two handles attached via at least two hinge points attached to at least two interlocking cam latch mechanisms arranged integrally on the wheel cover. The wheel cover assembly is attached to the hub via at least two cam latch mechanisms which lock into a collar assembly. The collar assembly consists of at least two collar halves and a latch that, when installed, applies a compressive force on the axle hub flange holding the assembly to the hub. Each of the at least two collars contain retention features that receive the interlocking features of the cam latch mechanism of the wheel cover assembly.
Abstract:
A bicycle rim is basically provided with a first annular side wall, a second annular side wall and an annular bridge. The first annular side wall includes a first braking contact portion. The second annular side wall includes a second braking contact portion. The annular bridge extends between the first and second annular side walls. At least one of the first and second braking contact portions has a plurality of soft additives at least partially embedded in a non-metallic layer.
Abstract:
A wheel of the bicycle wheel type includes a rim (200), a hub (10) with an axis (100) corresponding to the axis of the wheel, the hub including a left flange (11) and a right flange (12). The wheel includes an arrangement of rim-hub-rim connecting elements on at least one flange of the hub, which includes at least two sets of at least two rim-hub-rim connecting elements ((51-52; 53-54); (55-56; 57-58)), in the form of opposing spokes or rods, and in which the elements of each set are in planes situated on either side of the axis of the wheel and parallel to the axis.
Abstract:
A land-, air- and water-vehicle comprising a rolling, floatable and steerable fuselage, the roof-hinged doors of which serve as its wings, and which fuselage's lateral and rear portions are extendable into an airfoil with attached fins and stabilizer, whereby wings, fuselage and stabilizer provide sufficient aerodynamic lift.
Abstract:
A rim well with integrated flange made of fiber composite as well as to a method for manufacturing same. The flange is formed by inwardly directed protuberances of fiber layers of the rim well, wherein the fiber layers transition to the flange from the rim well without interruption of the fibers. The manufacture is carried out by depositing fiber material on a mold, which corresponds to the contour of the rim well and has a radially circumferential or segmented groove. The fibers are deposited such that the fibers of at least one fiber layer have protuberances directed into the groove. A multipart mold, which makes it possible to reduce the width of the groove and thus a deformation of the protuberances, is preferably used.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a wheel rim having a rim base of a fiber composite material. The problem to be solved by the invention is that of improving the production of the wheel rim, and especially to ensure a reliably functioning wheel structure which can be achieved with little financial and technical outlay. The problem is solved in that during the production of the rim base (2) a connection element (3, 13, 21, 31, 42, 51) is joined to the rim base (2), said connection element (3, 13, 21, 31, 42, 51) being designed and arranged in such a way that a wheel disc (4, 14, 22, 36, 45) can be connected to said connection element (3, 13, 21, 31, 42, 51).

Abstract:
A wheel for a motor vehicle, has a rim intended to receive a tire and a wheel disc made of fiber composite material joined to the rim, as well as an arrangement including screws or nuts for fastening the wheel disc to a wheel hub, for which purpose the wheel disc has axially directed openings for the passage of the screws or threaded bolts for screwing onto the nuts. The arrangement includes, for each opening of the wheel disc, an insulating body, a bush and a washer, each having a central opening, which surround the opening of the wheel disc in a U-shape, wherein the bush rests as a frame at an inner circumference of the opening, and the insulating body and the washer, resting against the frame and against the wheel disc in each case on one side of the wheel, at least partially cover the wheel disc in the radial direction. The insulating body is directed towards the wheel inside and the washer is directed towards the wheel outside. The insulating body can consist at least partially of ceramic material.
