    摘要: Aspects of the present invention relate to a system (100) for a vehicle (1), the system comprising: fluid bump stop mounting brackets (200) each configured to receive a fluid bump stop (400); a rear subframe (300) for a multilink rear suspension arrangement of a vehicle (1) having a unibody chassis (10); and lower arms (308) of the multilink rear suspension arrangement of the vehicle; wherein the rear subframe extends laterally (y) and comprises an upper spring seat (302) at each lateral side of the rear subframe, wherein each upper spring seat is configured to receive an upper end of a spring (500), wherein the rear subframe comprises a central mounting space (304) for a drivetrain component (600), wherein the rear subframe further comprises one or more lower arm mounting points (306) at each lateral side of the rear subframe, for the lower arms, wherein each lower arm comprises a lower spring seat (322) configured to receive a lower end of the spring, wherein either the lower spring seats or the upper spring seats comprise the fluid bump stop mounting brackets, and wherein the other of the lower spring seats or the upper spring seats comprise bump stop landing pads (310) each configured to contact one of the fluid bump stops when suspension compression is above a threshold.

    摘要: A bushing assembly includes an inner sleeve, a bearing, an elastomeric bushing, and an outer sleeve. The inner sleeve includes two pieces. Each of the two pieces includes a distal end portion and a proximal end portion. Each of the proximal end portions includes an external shoulder having an outer radial face and an inner axial face. The bearing is rotationally mounted around the inner sleeve and captured between each of the inner axial faces of the external shoulders. The elastomeric bushing is disposed around the bearing and abutting the outer radial faces of the external shoulders. The outer sleeve is disposed around the elastomeric bushing and extending at least partially over the external shoulders.

    摘要: A bump stop assembly for a UTV with a frame attachment, a shock absorber attachment, two panels, a shock absorber and a bracket. The frame attachment is coupled to the frame of the UTV and the shock absorber attachment is coupled to the shock absorber. The two panels extend between the frame attachment and the shock attachment. The bracket is coupled to the trailing arm of the suspension system of the UTV. The bump plate bracket has a bump plate located to contact the shock absorber when a force applied to the suspension system causes the suspension system to reach a predetermined level of a capacity of the suspension system to absorb. The bump plate transfers a portion of the force applied to the shock absorber. The shock absorber is configured to absorb energy transferred to the bump stop assembly by the force applied to the suspension system.

    摘要: A two-piece limit strap clamp for use with a shock absorber and a limit strap retention device is provided. The pieces couple together around the upper end of a shock absorber. The clamp has a protrusion that extends outwardly and is adapted for attachment of the top end of a limit strap. The lower end of the limit strap may be attached to a mounting tab that is coupled to the lower mounting bracket of the shock absorber. Also disclosed is a limit strap with a tether coupled to a spring of the shock absorber to prevent the limit strap from bowing out when the shock absorber is compressed. A method of use of a limit strap with a tether is also disclosed.

    摘要: A wheel suspension for a vehicle axle, in particular a front axle, of a two-track vehicle includes a wheel carrier configured to support a vehicle wheel, and a link assembly configured to articulate the wheel carrier to a vehicle body. The link assembly includes at least one two-point link articulated on a side of the wheel carrier to the wheel carrier at a first mounting point and on a side of the vehicle body to the vehicle body at a second mounting point. The two-point link executes a pivotal movement in the event of a head-on collision to enable a collision-proximal vehicle wheel to move backwards. The two-point link includes a stop member to limit the pivotal movement in the event of the head-on collision, by impacting a body-side counterpiece, thereby forming a body-side third mounting point to block and counteract the pivotal movement of the two-point link.
