    摘要: Provided is a sensor cleaning device. The sensor cleaning device is configured to clean a sensor mounted on a vehicle. The sensor cleaning device includes a housing having an opening, a protection member movably disposed with respect to the opening, and a cleaning member mounted around the opening and disposed in close contact with the protection member. Also provided is a method of controlling a sensor cleaning device. The method is performed by a controller configured to control an operation of a motor and a nozzle of the sensor cleaning device. The method includes 1) detecting a first contamination of a protection member configured to protect an environmental sensor and disposed to be movable by the motor; 2) spraying a washer fluid to the protection member; 3) and driving the motor so that the protection member is wiped by a cleaning member disposed in contact with the protection member.

    摘要: A controller for controlling a wiper unit including a wiper and an intermittent wipe cycle setting device for setting an intermittent wipe cycle of the wiper. The cycle setting device is set at a plurality of positions respectively corresponding to different intermittent wipe cycles. Further, the cycle setting device has a resistance value, which changes in accordance with each of the positions, and generates an output signal, which is in accordance with the change in the resistance value. The controller computes position information of the intermittent wipe cycle setting device from the output signal by using a learned value. The computer adjusts the learned value in accordance with the computation result of the position information to correct the position information. Accordingly, resistance value variances of the intermittent wipe cycle setting device are automatically corrected.

The controller is configured to receive a local weather condition, extract acoustic features from the acoustic signals, form feature vectors in response to the acoustic features and the local weather condition, classify the feature vectors to determine a current class among multiple classes, activate the windshield the wipers at a high speed in response to the current class being a heavy rain on a windshield class, activate the windshield wipers at a medium speed in response to the current class being a freezing rain on the windshield class, activate the windshield wipers at a low speed in response to the current class being a light rain on the windshield class, and deactivate the windshield wipers in response to the current class being a no rain class.

    摘要: A wiper motor control circuit controls a drive circuit such that an actual speed of a wiper speed computed based on change in a rotation angle of an output shaft of the wiper motor detected by a rotation angle sensor that detects the rotation angle becomes a target speed corresponding to a position of a wiper blade indicated by the rotation angle detected by the rotation angle sensor. The wiper motor control circuit also controls the drive circuit so as to apply a braking current in the wiper motor when the actual speed has exceeded a threshold value when the rotation angle detected by the rotation angle sensor indicates a return position of the wiper blade.

    摘要: Wiper apparatuses are provided herein. In one example, a wiper apparatus includes a wiper that has a wiper arm and a wiper blade. The wiper blade is mounted to the wiper arm for contact with a window of a motor vehicle. A wiper drive motor pivots the wiper arm between an out-wipe position and an in-wipe position. A controller controls operation of the wiper drive motor to cause the wiper drive motor to selectively stop the wiper blade in a standard park position when in a standard park mode and in a high park position when in a high park mode. The wiper blade in the high park position is located further up from a bottom edge of the window than in the standard park position. A wiper control switch causes the controller to toggle between the standard park mode and the high park mode when moved according to a predetermined switching sequence.
