摘要: Systems of an electrical vehicle and the operations thereof are provided. In particular, a towing cable and methods for utilizing the same in a towing scenario are described. The towing cable is described to facilitate the transfer of power between vehicles as well as data between vehicles. The data transferred between the vehicles involved in the towing include sensor information of the towed vehicle as well as control signals.

The environment monitoring system includes an environment detection device, a sensor which is mounted onto the radiator cowling and which is operably connected to the detection device and configured to ascertain an immediate region in front of the motor vehicle, and an actuator configured to pivot the radiator cowling between at least two pivot positions about a pivot axis extending substantially in vehicle transverse direction to thereby modify a detection range ascertained by the sensor.

Under a condition that the stopping device stops both of the first driving mode and the second driving mode, the controller executes one of recovery of both of the first driving mode and the second driving mode, recovery of one of the first driving mode and the second driving mode, and system shut-down according to the severity of collision.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for operating a motor vehicle (1) having a long-distance driver assistance system (2) comprising at least one sensor (3) which detects the area in front of a vehicle, and a control device (4) which is designed to detect a vehicle traveling ahead as a function of sensor information and to output control or regulating commands to one or more of the vehicle components (5, 6) used for long-distance driving in order to drive the motor vehicle (1) relative to the vehicle ahead when the driver assistance system (2) is activated and operationally ready, wherein the activated and operationally ready driver assistance system (2) can be deactivated from a control or regulating mode by a driver activity and vice versa, wherein, when no vehicle ahead is detected by the activated driver assistance system (2) and the driver assistance system (2) is deactivated by a driver activity, detection of the area in front of the vehicle is continuously carried out and, when a vehicle ahead is detected, either a notification is output to the driver to reactivate the driver assistance system and to place the system in control or regulating mode by means of another driver activity, or the driver assistance system is activated autonomously and switched to the control or regulating mode.

The electric-power converter includes a capacitor configured to restrain a high-frequency fluctuation in a voltage of electric power supplied from a battery, and a discharge circuit configured to discharge the capacitor. A connector (a signal connector) to which a wiring harness for communication of a discharge instruction signal to operate the discharge circuit at a time of a collision is connected is provided on a side face of the electric-power converter, the side face of the electric-power converter being facing in a vehicle width direction.
