    摘要: A microwaveable cup arrangement includes a cup, a microwaveable shield layer along at least a first portion of the cup, a microwaveable susceptor layer along at least a second portion of the cup, and a removable lid defining a storage area and having an aperture arrangement in communication with the interior volume of the cup. The cup arrangement can be used to hold an edible food arrangement including a food arrangement in which a portion is to remain cold, a portion is be heated, and a portion is be melted and distributed on the rest. One example includes an ice cream sundae.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a browning accessory for use in a microwave oven, for substantially simultaneous microwave cooking and browning or crusting of a food item. The browning accessory includes a microwave absorbing material operative to convert microwave energy into thermal energy and having its underside uncovered, thereby being accessible to airflow inside the microwave oven, and an outer enclosure having a skirt portion extending downwards below the microwave absorbing material to reduce convection cooling of the microwave absorbing material during use of the accessory.

    摘要: A microwavable crinkle-cut French fry potato includes deep groves and coatings of oil and encapsulated salt. Crinkle-cut potato pieces are prepared with a solids content of 40-50% by weight, frozen, sprayed with oil and coated with encapsulated salt. A carton for the potato pieces is formed from a single-piece blank provided with a pair of microwave susceptor surfaces and reinforced corners. A removable lid contacts the potato pieces during microwave reconstitution.

    摘要: A hermetically closed package enclosing a product comprises a wall formed of a packaging material including a first polymer film (7) and a second polymer film (10) being co-extensive with the packaging material, the first polymer film (7) is laminated to the second polymer film (10) by means of an adhesive layer (16). One of the polymer films is provided in a limited region thereof with a layer of a material generating heat when subjected to microwave radiation, i.e. a heat-generating layer (5) having susceptor effect. The heat-generating effect, i.e. the susceptor effect, of the heat-generating layer (5) is selected so as to melt, decompose, soften or weaken the first polymer film (7) and/or the second polymer film (10) in the limited region as seen transversely of the packaging material to such a degree that an opening is formed in the limited region.
