The compensating piston seal (22) is fastened to the cover (4; 8).

    摘要: The present invention provides a centrifugal compressor that inhibits possible leakage while reducing a destabilizing fluid force generated in a seal to prevent the possible instable vibration of a rotor. The centrifugal compressor includes a casing, a rotor rotatably installed in the casing and having an impeller, and seals provided in the clearance between the casing and the rotor to prevent a fluid from leaking through the clearance from a high pressure side to a low pressure side. The rotor rotates to compress gas. For example, the balance piston seal is composed of a damper seal with a plurality of holes and a labyrinth seal with an annular parallel groove; the damper seal and the labyrinth seal are continuously provided. The damper seal is disposed on the high pressure side in a leakage flow direction. The labyrinth seal is disposed on the low pressure side in the leakage flow direction.

    摘要: The invention concerns an axial thrust offloading device for the axial thrust balance of a machine shaft, including: a thrust balance ring with a supply channel for a pressurised medium therein designed, which opens out into an annular space on the face on the thrust balance ring, a first side disk and a second side disk, which in each case are arranged to be axially adjacent to, and on opposite sides of, the thrust balance ring such that a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber are created, wherein the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber on the exit flow side are in each case closed off by means of a labyrinth seal, and on the inlet flow side a connection in each case exists to the annular space for the inflow of pressurised a medium, via a first restrictor location for the first pressure chamber and a second restrictor location for the second pressure chamber; a disk-shaped restrictor element entering into the annular space; the thrust balance ring and the restrictor element are so arranged that one of the two components is stationary in the axial direction and the other component follows an axial movement of the assigned machine shaft, wherein by means of a relative axial movement between the thrust balance ring and the restrictor element the first restrictor location and the second restrictor location are reciprocally opened and closed, so that a pressure difference is created between the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber.

A motor driving the pump includes a rotary shaft, the distal and basal ends of which are supported by magnetic bearings. Each magnetic bearing has a rotated magnet, which is rotated integrally with the rotary shaft, and a fixed magnet, which is opposed to the rotated magnet. The rotated and fixed magnets repel each other. The diameter of the magnetic bearing at the distal end of the rotary shaft is greater than that of the magnetic bearing at the basal end. This decreases movement of the rotary shaft toward its distal end when the pump operates.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for balancing the pressure across a front bearing in a compressor housing. The present invention may protect the bearing from lubricant migration by eliminating pressure differentials across the bearing. When a blower or fan is running, the bearing experiences the same pressure differential that is across the blower. Unless this pressure is balanced, lubricant may migrate from the bearing very quickly. The present invention may provide a pressure balance and sealing across the front bearing of a blower or fan. A plurality of grooves on the face of a compressor impeller and a plurality of grooves on a compressor shaft surface restrict the gas flow to balance pressure across a bearing. Alternatively, a labyrinth seal may cooperate with a plurality of grooves on the face of a compressor impeller to balance pressure across the bearing.
