The vehicle speed change arrangement also includes first to fourth shift levers (24a to 24b) for shifting the shift blocks, select actuators (30a, 30b) for selecting the first to fourth shift levers, a first shift actuator (31a) for shifting the first or second shift lever, a second shift actuator (31b) for shifting the third or fourth shift lever, a gear disengagement determination unit (50) for determining whether a gear is disengaged when the gear engagement or disengagement is made using the first and second shift actuators, and a drive unit (51) for driving the gear engaging shift actuator to operate the gear engaging shift actuator when gear disengagement is determined by the gear disengagement determination unit.

    摘要: A transmission for an all-terrain vehicle includes: a variable-speed drive operatively connected to an engine, and a gear transmission mechanism operatively connected to the drive. The mechanism includes: a single shifting fork for selecting at least a forward high-speed ratio, a forward low-speed ratio, neutral or reverse, a shifting lever disposed at a position below a right end part or a left end part of a handlebar at a level above the engine, the shifting lever extending substantially upward, a single change lever shaft connected with the shifting fork, the change lever being disposed on the same side as the side on which the shifting lever is disposed with respect to a longitudinal center axis of the all-terrain vehicle, and the change lever shaft extending substantially upward at a rear end part of the engine, and a single connecting member connecting the change lever shaft and the shifting lever. The connecting member is extending at a side of the engine. The shifting lever and the shifting fork are connected by a simple connecting mechanism.

    摘要: A compact transmission designed particularly for a self-propelled, walking lawn mower is provided. The transmission is mounted on the deck of the mower behind the engine and is connected to a power take-off shaft of it. The transmission has two forward speeds and is shifted by a short finger-operated shift lever extending rearwardly. The transmission is compact, light in weight, and low in cost. These are achieved, in part, by the gears being arranged to occupy a minimum space and a one-piece shifter fork and guide plate being made of plastic material and assembled through an opening in the top of the transmission housing. The transmission housing also can use either a horizontal or a vertical input shaft with minimum change in design.
