Abstract: A tank holding device includes a band configured to tighten a hydrogen tank. The band includes a band-shaped base portion extending along an outer circumference of the hydrogen tank, and a plurality of pressing portions projecting from both sides of the base portion in a width direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the base portion and configured to apply a pressing force to an outer peripheral surface of the hydrogen tank by elastically deforming in abutment against the outer peripheral surface of the hydrogen tank. At least an elastic member is provided in a gap between the band and the hydrogen tank to fill the gap.

Abstract: A grilling device and method for operating a grilling device. The grilling device comprises a grill housing, a gas-operated heating element, and a connecting element which can be connected to a fuel container. The gas-operated heating element is connected to the connecting element by means of a connecting conduit, wherein the connecting conduit has a fuel withdrawal portion adapted to carry fuel in a liquid form and an expansion portion adapted to carry the fuel in a gaseous state. The fuel withdrawal portion is connected to the connecting element upstream in the flow direction of the fuel and opens into the expansion portion downstream in the flow direction.

Abstract: The invention provides a device for protecting a high-pressure gas tank of a motor vehicle. The device includes at least one heat-conducting plate and a thermal triggering unit. The heat-conducting plate has a distal region and a proximal region. The proximal region is arranged immediately adjacent to the thermal triggering unit and the distal region is arranged at a distance from the thermal triggering unit. The heat-conducting plate may be shaped so that it tapers from the distal region to the proximal region. The proximal region itself may be shaped in a tapering fashion. The heat-conducting plate may include heat-conducting fibers.

Abstract: A pressurizable gas reservoir can include a first end member and a second end member that is disposed in longitudinally-spaced relation to the first end member. A flexible reservoir member can extend between opposing first and second ends. The first end secured to the first end member and the second end secured to the second end member. The flexible reservoir member at least partially defines a reservoir chamber between the first and second end members that is capable of storing a quantity of pressurized gas for an extended duration of time. The first and second end members can be maintained in substantially-fixed axial position relative to one another. A suspension system including such a pressurized gas reservoir and a method of assembly are also included.

Abstract: This invention includes an above ground gas storage vessel of tubular or cylindrical configuration. A head or cap with threads mating the threads of the tube is screwed on each end of the tube to form a pressure vessel. Each cap contains a passage therein threaded to mate a reducing bushing. The reducing bushing likewise contains a passage which is at least partially threaded. This passage may be capped to prevent gas flow or valve to allow the flow of gas as required. In an alternative embodiment, the cap assembly is inserted into the tube and retained therein. A packing assembly would be used to seal the tube to prevent the escape of gas. A plurality of vessels are secured in a vertical-parallel arrangement using a support structure to increase gas storage capacity while taking up a minimal amount of ground space.
