摘要: The disclosure relates to a technique for providing an image of diagnostically relevant area of a jaw region of a patient by means of a magnetic resonance apparatus by capturing information about the jaw region of the patient, which comprises at least one reference to a position and/or an extent of the diagnostically relevant area of the jaw region. The technique also includes adjusting a parameter of a magnetic resonance measurement as a function of the captured information about the jaw region of the patient, carrying out the magnetic resonance measurement with the adjusted parameter, capturing image data of the jaw region of the patient, reconstructing an image of the diagnostically relevant area of the jaw region as a function of the captured image data, and providing the image of the diagnostically relevant area of the jaw region of the patient.

摘要: An apparatus and method are provided for transmitting control information and data in a DFT based communication system. The method includes placing a reference signal onto a first symbol among a plurality of symbols in one slot; placing a HARQ-ACK onto a second symbol first placed after the first symbol in the one slot; placing the data onto other symbols except for the first symbol; and transmitting a signal including the reference signal, the HARQ-ACK and the data. A part of CQI information is further placed onto at least one symbol, except for the first symbol, in case that the CQI information is present for transmission in the one slot.

摘要: A method to compensate for chemical shift displacement includes, prior to applying an imaging pulse sequence to acquire MRI data of a subject, applying a first saturation pulse within a slice location of an imaging volume of the subject in which the MRI data is to be acquired, wherein the first saturation pulse results in a first chemical shift displacement between water and fat in a first spatial saturation band. The method also includes, prior to applying the imaging pulse sequence, subsequently applying a second saturation pulse within the slice location, wherein the second saturation pulse results in a second chemical displacement between the water and the fat in a second spatial saturation band that results in a final spatial saturation band being free of chemical shift displacement after application of the second saturation pulse, the second chemical shift displacement being different from the first chemical shift displacement.

摘要: A system and method is provided that includes acquiring chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) data with the MRI system and generating an acquired Z-spectrum (Z) from the CEST data. The system and method also includes computing an estimated direct water saturation (Z′) based using at least one of relaxation measurements derived from the CEST data or imaging parameters used to acquire the CEST data with the MRI system, computing a direct saturation corrected Z-spectrum (ΔZ) using the acquired Z-spectrum (Z) and the estimated direct water saturation (Z′), and generating a CEST image of the subject using the direct saturation corrected Z-spectrum (ΔZ).

The method also includes receiving a set of data based, at least in part, on the sampling in the frequency range.

摘要: In a method and apparatus for recording MR signals with an image-recording sequence with which preparation gradients for preparing the MR signals are switched before the signal readout and readout gradients, in order to predominantly record the MR signal components with a desired signal coherence pathway in the readout segment, the signal components with an undesired signal coherence pathway are suppressed by dephasing gradients. The dephasing gradients are determined independently of the time intervals in which the preparation gradients are switched, and only in dependence on the effective size of the gradient moments of the preparation gradients.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method and a medical apparatus for visualizing a hadron beam traversing an organic body. In one implementation, the method may include capturing a magnetic resonance (MR) image including a volume of irradiated excitable atoms surrounding a hadron beam and having a magnetic susceptibility modified by the hadron beam captured as a hyposignal. For example, a hyposignal may be obtained by saturating the spins of the irradiated excitable atoms before capturing an MR image based on excitation of excitable atoms not affected by the hadron beam.

摘要: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus comprises a scanning unit for performing a pulse sequence PS including a MT (Magnetization Transfer) pulse b for lessening signals from the cerebral parenchyma (white matter and gray matter). The scanning unit performs the pulse sequence PS in periods of time P1 and P3 in the pulse sequence PS so that the MT pulse b is applied every repetition time TR, while it performs the pulse sequence PS in a period of time P2 in the pulse sequence PS so that no MT pulse b is applied.
