    摘要: A five-piece wide-angle lens module includes, from an object side to an image side, a first lens, a second lens, a third lens, a fourth lens and a fifth lens. The first lens has negative power, a convex surface on the object side and a concave surface on the image side. The second lens, the third lens and the fifth lens all have positive power and two convex surfaces on both sides. The fourth lens has negative power and two concave surfaces on both sides. The five-piece wide-angle lens module further satisfies the following relationship: 30≧(T5+T7+T9)/(T6+T8+T10)≧10. Thereby, the incident light can have smaller refraction angle when transmitting through the lenses, and thus the five-piece wide-angle lens module can be provided with characteristics of low manufacturing sensitivity, wide angle, low distortion, high photosensitivity efficiency and high image quality.

    摘要: An optical system includes a first deformable lens having a membrane with a deformable portion. A sensor is configured to receive the light focused by the first deformable lens. An optical path extends through the first deformable lens and to the sensor. The first deformable lens is tuned according to an applied electrical signal in order to directly focus light traversing the optical path onto the sensor. A first volume of a first optical media and a second volume of a second optical media are defined at least in part by the deformable portion of the membrane. The first volume and the second volume are completely enclosed by the housing. The first volume and the second volume remain substantially constant for all configurations of the first deformable lens.

    摘要: An optically corrective microprobe for white light interferometry is disclosed. In white light interferometry which uses different spectral ranges, the dispersion-induced dependency of optical path differences on the wavelength between measurement light bundle and reference light bundle is compensated by an efficient, easily miniaturized arrangement. A reference beamsplitter with partially reflecting filters in at least two different spectral ranges for generating at least two transmitted measurement light bundles and associated reflected reference light bundles of nonoverlapping spectral ranges is arranged between the light output surface of the light-conducting fiber and the focusing optics. An axial distance between two partially reflecting filters is adjusted in such a way that a spectrally induced optical path difference to which the respective measurement light bundles are subjected when passing through dispersive elements in the light path to the object surface and back is present to the same magnitude between the respective reference light bundles.

    摘要: An ergonomic vertical redirection vision system comprises glasses or goggles with lenses modified to include a fresnel prism that vertically redirects light. The curved fresnel prism is a novel curved refractive element with unique advantages compared to a flat fresnel prism. The curved fresnel prism may be achromatized by the addition of an appropriate diffractive surface thereby creating a hybrid achromat or diffractive/refractive optical element (DROE). Looking through the modified eyewear will redirect the user's visual field up or down, depending on the configuration. Upward vision redirection improves ergonomics and aerodynamics for several sports including bicycle riding, swimming, downhill ski racing, and motorcycle racing. Downward vision redirection improves the ergonomics of reading a book, working on a laptop or pad computer, or taking notes in a class.
