    摘要: An electronic device includes a reader and a plurality of first coil units. The reader is configured to read at least one wireless signal. The reader is connected to a first coil unit of the first coil units to read the wireless signal in an original reading distance. Other first coil unit(s) of the first coil units is separately arranged in an order started from the first coil unit. Spacing between any two of the first coil units is lower than or equal to the original reading distance. The first coil units are configured to generate magnetic coupling with an adjacent first coil unit started from the first coil unit to extend the original reading distance as a first extended reading distance and adjust a direction of the first extended reading distance.

    摘要: An electronic article surveillance device attaches to an object having an electronic article surveillance RFID label in it. The EAS device interrogates the label for information and associates itself with the label. The device retransmits the information from the label to the broader system and over a longer range than the label can by itself. The device has a motion detector and periodically interrogates the label to insure the presence of the label, especially when motion is detected. The unexpected absence of the label is considered an alarm condition and the device will alarm in those circumstances. External devices arm and disarm the device and detach the device as well.

    摘要: RFID systems are disclosed that include at least one RFID receiver system and a distributed exciter architecture. The exciters can be connected via wired and/or wireless connections to the RFID receiver system and the RFID receiver system can control the activation of the exciters to detect the presence of RFID tags within interrogation spaces defined by the exciter topology. In several embodiments, the RFID receiver system performs location estimation to determine the interrogation space in which a specific RFID tag or collection of RFID tags is located. One embodiment of the invention includes an RFID receiver system configured to detect information from RFID tags within a receive coverage area, and a plurality of exciters defining a plurality of interrogation spaces within the receive coverage area of the RFID receiver system. In addition, the RFID receiver system is configured to transmit a control signal that identifies one of the plurality of exciters and includes information indicative of an RFID tag interrogation signal, the plurality of exciters are configured to receive the control signal, and the exciter identified in the control signal is configured to illuminate an interrogation space with the RFID tag interrogation signal.
