    摘要: A parameter monitor and method for monitoring a parameter of a passive component on an integrated circuit. The parameter monitor includes an oscillator circuit. The parameter monitor also includes circuitry configured to measure a first time period of an oscillation of the oscillator circuit with a passive component to produce a first digital count value, to measure second time period of an oscillation of the oscillator circuit without the passive component to produce a second digital count value, and generate a code indicative of a value of or a variation in the value of the passive component using the first and second digital count values.

    摘要: A point-of-care hygiene compliance module includes a housing that is adapted to be attached to a dispensing container that dispenses material through a dispensing nozzle when actuated. The housing includes a pivoting actuation arm that is configured so as to be placed in operative contact with the dispensing nozzle. Thus, when the actuation arm is actuated, material is dispensed from the dispensing container, and a switch in operative contact with the actuation arm is actuated. The triggering of the switch updates a count value that is maintained by a controller, which may then be displayed or acquired by a remote computer to assess the amount of usage of the dispensing container.

    摘要: A quantity converting and indicating apparatus for use in automatic remote systems for inspecting consumed amounts of gas, city water, electric power or the like, by which a detected value in the decimal system displayed on such a counter as a gas meter is converted to a binary system value convenient for transmission by a channel such as a telephone circuit. The apparatus is provided with plural cams (2) cooperative with a figure wheel (4) of the counter for converting the detected value to the binary system value, plural vibrators (6a) placed facing each cam and fixed each at one end, flexible vibrator controlling members (5) placed adjacent to the concaves and convexes (2a, 2b) of each cam and facing the respective vibrators at their other ends for controlling the vibrators, means (10) for activating the vibrators, and means (7, 8) for converting the vibration to an A.C. signal having a frequency in a band adopted for transmission by means such as a telephone circuit.

    摘要: An intermittent drive mechanism for an encoding device is driven by a continuously rotating drive source. First and second Geneva drive discs are each rotated through a sequence of rotated rapid incremental displacements to a plurality of positions each of which are utilized for providing coded information. The first Geneva drive disc is rotated by a drive means which is moved to a high energy level condition by the drive source and permitted to rapidly discharge. A second drive means is connected to the first disc and is moved to a high energy level condition by rotation of the first disc and permitted to discharge to rapidly drive the second disc.
