    摘要: A trip device for a circuit breaker comprises a first terminal; a second terminal; and a bimetal in which a slot with one side opened is formed at one end of the bimetal, the one end is divided into a first end portion and a second end portion, the first end portion is connected to the first terminal, and the second end portion is connected to the second terminal, wherein the bimetal generates heat with a current which flows between the first end portion and the second end portion, and a heating amount of the bimetal is changed based on a length of the slot. Accordingly, a desired rated current can be set, the bimetal can be prevented from being damaged by a fault current, and the fault current can be effectively detected by obtaining a sufficient amount of heat and a bending amount of the bimetal.

    摘要: An electronic control device includes a substrate, a plurality of component-mounted wires disposed on the substrate, a plurality of electronic components mounted on the respective component-mounted wires, a common wire disposed on the substrate and coupled with each of the electronic components, an interrupt wire coupled between one of the component-mounted wires and the common wire, a connection wire via which the interrupt wire is coupled with one of the common wire and the one of the component-mounted wires, and a solder disposed between each of the electronic components and a corresponding one of the component-mounted wires and having a lower melting point than the interrupt wire. The interrupt wire is configured to melt in accordance with heat generated by an overcurrent so as to interrupt a coupling between the one of the component-mounted wires and the common wire.

    摘要: A breaker includes a fixed metal plate, a moving metal plate, a bimetal, and a heater. The fixed plate includes a fixed contact in a space of an exterior case having an electrically-insulating case and an exterior metal plate. The exterior plate and the fixed plate are arranged opposed to each other, and fixed to the electrically-insulating case. The bimetal has a convex shape, and is arranged between the heater and the moving plate. The electrically-insulating case includes first and second outer walls and protruding from the both ends of the case. A central part of the fixed plate is fixed to the first outer wall, and a part of moving plate is fixed to the second outer wall. The exterior plate closes the opening of the space.

    摘要: A heat-sensitive switch includes a first terminal, a second terminal away from the first terminal, a reverse spring reversing at a set temperature and having an opening part and positioned between the first and second terminals, and a junction spring positioned between the reverse spring and the second terminal without being fixed, integrally having a junction part protrusively positioned and in contact with the first terminal via the opening part, and also having an outer peripheral part in contact with the second terminal. An electric connection between the first and second terminals is formed, and when the reverse spring reverses at the set temperature, a force is applied to the junction part of the junction spring in the direction away from the first terminal, whereby the electric connection is cut.

In order to ensure that the switch remains in the non-quiescent open position after the thermal sensor has been tripped, provision is made that the movable contact is formed by a wire-type or strip-type contact part which can be plastically deformed by the transmission component actuated by the thermal bimetallic snap-over disc temperature sensor.

    摘要: A condition-sensing switching device is disclosed having a plurality of active switch elements which are not symmetrical with the line of action of the condition-sensing actuator. A dummy element is provided to establish symmetry and produce a balanced condition on the switch actuator. The switch elements and dummy element are arranged so that no resilient forces are applied to the actuator during a portion of the actuator movement and the resilient forces on each element simultaneously are applied in a balanced manner during actuator movement to ensure that the forces on the actuator are balanced in all positions of the actuator. An adjusting screw is provided to adjust the force of one spring to ensure that absolute balance is achieved.

    摘要: A heat responsive electrical switch comprises a small, open ended, generally cylindrical housing in which are mounted two spaced plate members extending in parallel directions from a bottom wall into a switch cavity. The first plate member mounts at its distal free end a relatively inflexible movable contact arm which is adapted to move into and out of engagement with a stationary contact mounted on the second plate member. A relatively low spring rate spring is connected between the movable contact arm toward the stationary contact with a selected contact force created by displacing a portion of the spring with a reaction force. The open end of the housing is formed with a plurality of raised plateaus. A thermally conductive cup is received over the open end interfitting with the plateaus. A thermally responsive snap-acting disc and a flexible motion transfer sheet of resinous material can be captured by the cup at the open end of the housing. The plate members are formed so that they are either rigidly staked to the bottom wall of the housing or are riveted directly to terminal blades outside the housing.

    摘要: A thermally actuatable switch having a housing provided with a pair of leads, one of the leads having a contact and the other of the leads having a spring blade for making contact with the contact to complete an electrical circuit between the leads. The spring blade has a normal bias to move the same out of contact with the contact to open the circuit. A temperature sensitive member is carried by the housing and is adapted to collapse when the same is at a predetermined temperature. A biasing member is operatively associated with the temperature sensitive member and the spring blade to resiliently hold the spring blade in contact with the contact as long as the temperature sensitive member is in an uncollapsed condition thereof whereby the biasing member substantially compensates for any shrinkage and/or deterioration of the temperature sensitive member during its uncollapsed life and thus maintains the spring blade in contact with the contact.
