摘要: A system includes a subscriber identity module (SIM) application; a physical SIM driver configured to be coupled to a physical SIM card; a simulated SIM driver; a control switch that selectively couples the SIM application to the physical SIM driver or the simulated SIM driver, wherein the SIM application, when coupled to the physical SIM driver, is configured to read and write on the physical SIM card; and a SIM simulator in communication with the control switch and the simulated SIM driver, wherein the SIM simulator is configured to control the selective coupling of the control switch, and is configured to receive at least one request comprising an authentication request from the simulated SIM driver and transmit at least one response comprising an authentication response to the simulated SIM driver.

摘要: Disclosed are various embodiments for extending cloud-based virtual private networks to radio-based networks. In one embodiment, a subnet of a virtual private cloud network of a cloud provider network is created in a radio-based network. An identifier of a subscriber identity module of a client device is registered in the virtual private cloud network. The subscriber identity module is assigned to a security group of the virtual private cloud network. A request from the client device to connect to the radio-based network is received, and the request presents the identifier. The virtual private cloud network to which the client device is permitted access is determined. The client device is provided with access to a resource on the virtual private cloud network through the radio-based network.

摘要: A subscriber identity module (eUICC), comprises profiles for the utilization of a mobile terminal that include at least a first profile and at least a second profile, of which the second profile (Pr1, Pr2) is devised as an active profile. The first profile is designed as a root profile (PrR) which in a normal state of the subscriber identity module is in an inactive state, and which is devised to be activated in response to an authentication command (AUTHENTICATE) received at the subscriber identity module. The authentication command is specially parameterized for the root profile (PrR) with a specific root value of the network parameter (P2) to be activated during a change-over period. The initially active second profile (Pr1, Pr2) is deactivated during the change-over period. After the end of the change-over period, the first profile (PrR) is again deactivated and the second profile (Pr1, Pr2) is again activated.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method comprising the steps of: receiving a first control signal transmitted from a base station; processing the received first control signal; and transmitting, to the base station, a second control signal generated on the basis of the processing. In addition, disclosed are a method and a device for installing a profile again when changing an eUICC terminal, and a terminal for managing a profile for a network connection by using an eUICC in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment, comprises a transmission/reception unit, and at least one processor for controlling the terminal so as to receive a movement request of the profile from a user, confirm profile movement information, transmit, to a profile server, a message for requesting an activation code, receive the activation code and a profile deletion need from the profile server, delete the profile, transmit the deletion result of the profile to the profile server, transfer the activation code to another terminal, receive the activation code from another terminal, transmit a message for requesting the profile to the profile server by using the activation code, receive a profile package from the profile server, and install the profile package.

The architecture includes a privacy gateway connected to the core packet forwarding gateway, where the privacy gateway is configured to authenticate the computing device while hiding the identity of the computing device by verifying authentication tokens that represent units of access. The architecture further includes an over-the-air (OTA) gateway configured to select an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) from a pool of valid IMSIs and deliver the selected IMSI to a subscriber identity module (SIM) card of the computing device, where the SIM card periodically shuffles the pool of valid IMSIs.

摘要: A method for remotely performing secure change of operational mode of a telecommunications device, the method comprising: establishing a first secure channel between a modem of the telecommunications device and an application executing in an Execution Environment of the telecommunications device; establishing a second secure channel between the application and a remote server; enabling the modem in a limited operational mode; generating a request, by the modem or the application, to verify the validity of a subscriber identity module of the telecommunications device; retrieving, by the modem, module identification information from the subscriber identity module; retrieving verification information, by the application and from the remote server, using the second secure channel, sending the module identification information from the modem to the application using the first secure channel, verifying at the application whether the subscriber identity module is valid using the module identification information and the verification information, and sending the verification result from the application to the modem using the first secure channel, or retrieving verification information, by the application and from the remote server, using the second secure channel, sending the verification information from the application to the modem using the first secure channel and verifying at the modem whether the subscriber identity module is valid using the module identification information and the verification information, or sending the module identification information from the modem to the remote server, verifying at the remote server whether the subscriber identity module is valid using the module identification information and verification information available at the server, sending the verification result from the remote server to the application using the second secure channel, and sending the verification result from the application to the modem using the first secure channel; responsive to a positive verification of the subscriber identity module transitioning the modem from the limited operational mode to an enhanced operational mode.
