Abstract: A complete vehicle wheel assembly includes a wheel with wheel rim having two opposed circular rim flanges and a tire having beads secured at the circular rim flanges. Each one of the circular rim flanges has a tubular hollow chamber with an annular opening. The tubular hollow chamber has a square or rectangular cross-section, and the annular opening has a width such that the bead is insertable into the tubular hollow chamber only in a rotated or deformed state after insertion of the bead, a remaining free space in the tubular hollow chamber is filled with a liquid, hardenable material.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for receiving a tire, especially for checking the concentricity of a pneumatic vehicle tire that during operation has its bead portions mounted on the radially inner periphery of a wheel rim. A test rim is provided that comprises two axially movable rim ring sections that in turn are provided with pivotable rim flange segments toward which cooperating parts are axially movable from beyond the tire. The bead zones of the trapezoidally mounted tire are engaged by the cooperating parts and are brought into the rim-setting position. The pivotable rim flange segments are swung radially inwardly, so that the bead portions are held between the cooperating parts and the rim ring sections. The bead seat is sealed by sealing lips.

Abstract: A vehicle wheel having a rigid rim on which can be mounted a pneumatic tire. The rim has rim flanges that essentially extend radially inwardly. The wheel also has a drop base that is centrally disposed relative to the rim, and is open radially outwardly. Abstract: A vehicle wheel has a pneumatic tire mounted thereon. The wheel has a rigid rim having essentially radially inwardly extending rim flanges and, on the radially inner side of the rim ring, the rim has respective mounting spaces, each with a deep mounting bed. Abstract: A vehicle wheel for a pneumatic tire of elastomeric material is provided. The bead portions of the tire are disposed on the radially inner periphery of the wheel rim, and the carcass of the tire is anchored in the bead portions by being looped-around pull and compression-resistant bead cores. The wheel has a rigid rim having essentially inwardly extending rim flanges and, axially inwardly thereof, rim seating surfaces for the bead portions of the tire.
