摘要: A shift control method for an automatic transmission includes the steps of outputting a predetermined shift control signal while driving in a second speed for controlling shifting into a third speed if signals indicating that shifting from the second speed into the third speed are applied; determining if third speed synchronization is completed; or determining if a tip-in signal has been applied if third speed synchronization is not completed; outputting a throttle compensation duty and determining if signals corresponding to 3-2 kickdown shifting are received if a tip-in signal is applied during third speed synchronization; comparing an oil temperature with a first predetermined value if signals corresponding to 3-2 kickdown shifting are received; comparing a vehicle speed with a second predetermined value if the oil temperature is greater than or equal to the first predetermined value; detecting an On/Off state of a kickdown switch if the vehicle speed is greater than or equal to the second predetermined value; performing 3-2 kickdown shift control during shifting from the second speed to the third speed if the difference of turbine rpm and engine rpm is greater than or equal to the third predetermined value.

摘要: A shift control apparatus for an automatic transmission includes a kickdown orifice control valve for changing over two systems of hydraulic-pressure supply lines which supply hydraulic pressure to friction engaging elements on an engaging side via at least one orifice by sliding a spool between a first position at which the spool is urged by a spring and a second position at which the spool is urged by changeover hydraulic pressure acting in a direction opposite the spring, a solenoid valve mounted at a point along a line which introduces the changeover hydraulic pressure, and control means for controlling opening and closing of the solenoid valve, e.g., by duty-control or timer. Duty control is made according to vehicle velocity and throttle opening and corrected according to the engine rotational state.

摘要: When the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, shifting points at which the automatic power transmission shifts to another gear ratio are suddenly moved toward the higher vehicle speed to readily achieve the downshift of the transmission even during a relatively high vehicle speed. The downshifts are continued until the magnitude of the throttle pressure which is substantially proportional to the output of the engine is decreased to a predetermined level even when the accelerator pedal is permitted to return to its partially depressed position.

摘要: A control system to change gear ratio in an automatic transmission through friction elements engaged by hydraulic pressure. A closed loop electrical circuit is completed between a transducer, which provides an electrical signal related to the output torque of the transmission, and a pair of control valves, to vary the pressure applied to a friction element by each control valve. A circuit for computing reaction torque is coupled between the transducer and a logic control circuit, which provides logic command signals for controlling operation of components in the closed loop circuit. The system computes an output torque ramp when a downshift is called for by the shift point computer and uses controllers which react oppositely to control engagement of a clutch and brake in response to error signals of torque output compared to a desired ramp to produce a proper shift.
