摘要: Provided is a knit fabric which does not cause feelings of clamminess, feels very cool to the touch and is comfortable, and limits feelings of stickiness and post-sweat chill through rapid drying of sweat, and at the same time is capable of further improving texture. The garment comprises a multilayer-structure circular-knit fabric made of a single circular knit with a layered structure of at least two layers, and the surface that contacts the skin is the needle-loop side of the circular-knit fabric. The circular-knit fabric has portions in which long cellulose fibers and hydrophobic fibers are knit together to form the same knit loops. The garment contains 10-50 weight % of the long cellulose fibers. The exposure rate of the long cellulose fibers in the region from the surface of the side that contacts the skin to 0.13 mm into the interior of the circular-knit fabric is at least 30%.

In an embodiment, the shirt includes a body to be disposed about a torso of a wearer, a body to be disposed about a torso of a wearer, and pair of sleeves to receive the wearer's arms. In addition, the shirt includes a collar assembly including a port including a V-shaped region, and a collar extending from the port. The collar has a first portion extending a first length from the port, and a second portion extending a second length from the port. The first length is longer than the second length, and the second portion extends from the V-shaped region of the port. The body and the collar assembly comprise a first material, the pair of shoulder and the pair of sleeves comprise a second material, and the second material is more abrasion resistant than the first material.

摘要: Disclosed and described herein are systems and methods of energy generation from fabric electrochemistry. An electrical cell is created when electrodes (cathodes and anodes) are ‘printed’ on or otherwise embedded into fabrics to generate DC power when moistened by a conductive bodily liquid such as sweat, wound, fluid, etc. The latter acts, in turn, as the cell's electrolyte. A singular piece of fabric can be configured into multiple cells by dividing regions of the fabric with hydrophobic barriers and having at least one anode-cathode set in each region. Flexible inter-connections between the cells can be used to scale the generated power, per the application requirements.

摘要: A compression garment that is operable to provide a compression force to a portion of the body of the wearer and wherein the outer surface thereof is configured to be washed and sanitized. The compression garment of the present invention if further configured to provide absorption of any moisture present adjacent the skin of the wearer during wearing of the compression garment. The compression garment includes an outer layer and an inner layer. The outer layer is manufactured from an expandable, waterproof and solvent resistant material. An inner layer is adjacent the outer layer and is manufactured from an absorbent material. A plurality of expansion joints are present in the inner layer so as to inhibit damage to the inner layer during expansion of the outer layer. The compression garment is washable so as to be properly cleaned and sanitized.

The integrally raised structures in the second fabric/garment zone are continuously woven/knit with the first zone. The integrally raised structures in the second zone of the fabric/garment are provided on the garments, in accordance with aspects herein, as wipe zones for transferring fluids away from a wearer's skin upon the wearer rubbing their wet skin off on the wipe zone(s).

摘要: The present disclosure generally relates to an absorbent pad for use in a garment. The absorbent pad includes: a liquid impermeable barrier layer; a functional layer attached to the barrier layer, the functional layer comprising a liquid absorbent component; a liquid impermeable peripheral sealing element bonded to peripheries of the functional layer and barrier layer; and a peripheral attaching element having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion bonded to the peripheral sealing element. The second portion of the peripheral attaching element is detached from the peripheral sealing element and is arranged to be attached to a fabric body of the garment, thereby attaching the absorbent pad to the garment.

摘要: Described are moisture responsive materials. The materials may have tunable moisture permeability. A material may be a substrate that includes apertures. The apertures are configured to open or close depending on the humidity environment to which the substrate is exposed. The apertures have at least two regions of polymer gel, which may have different amounts of crosslinking. The apertures may be formed from at least two polymer gels having at least two different crosslinker loadings. The materials may be used in articles of manufacture. For example, the materials are used in wearable articles, outdoor articles, medical articles, packaging articles, building articles, filtration/separation articles, and the like.
