Abstract: A fluid reaction tank is provided having an inlet vortex tube for receiving fluid having suspended solids therein and to impart a vortex motion on the fluid flowing therethrough into a reactor housing having one or more cartridges containing a flocculant composition. The cartridges can have perforated inner sidewalls to allow contact of fluid with the composition. The cartridges can further have vortex forming ridges therein to impart or to maintain the vortex motion of the fluid flowing through the fluid reaction tank.

Abstract: An article of manufacture for providing a water salinizer to add salt to pool water is disclosed. The water salinizer includes a barrel having a sidewall, a convex bottom, an angled sidewall between the convex bottom and the side wall, and an opening is a top surface for dissolving material into water, an input port coupled to the angled sidewall and being configured with the convex bottom to direct an incoming pressurized water stream and salt around the barrel along the angled sidewall, and a discharge port coupled to the sidewall about the opening in the top surface on an opposite side of the barrel from the input port.

Abstract: The object of the invention is an apparatus (50) for magnetic treatment of fluids, comprising a substantially cylindrical housing (6), having a bottom wall (61), a top wall (62), and a sidewall (60) running around the circumference of the bottom wall (61) and of the top wall (62) of the housing; at least one inlet opening (2, 3) and at least one outlet opening (4) formed in a wall of the housing (6); at least one magnet (8) connected to the housing (6), wherein the magnetic field of the magnet intrudes into the housing; wherein one or more inlet tubes (30) are connected to the one or more inlet openings (2, 3), wherein the inlet tubes are at least partially tangential at least in the proximity of the inlet opening. As a result of this configuration, the velocity vector of the fluid to be treated has a significant tangential component during most of its travel through the apparatus and thus the fluid crosses the magnetic field lines of the magnets having their magnetic axes oriented parallel with the centerline of the housing such that the angle formed between said field lines and said velocity vector is large.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device consisting of a reactor facility for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid or gaseous media or mixtures of the two. In the context of this invention, electrolytic treatment with relation to flow dynamics means the combination of the production of at least one rotating fluid eddy and the eversion of the eddy by means of electrolysis taking place in the reactor facility. The guided fluid eddy is efficiently treated, cleaned and disinfected by this combination in the reactor facility according to the invention. The invention further relates to a method for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid media in the reactor facility according to the invention.

Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided a hydro crusher for water treatment, for removing living organisms from water to be treated, the hydro crusher including: a body portion which has a cylindrical shape having an inner space, and includes an inflow portion to allow the water to be treated to be drawn into the inner space therethrough, and a discharge portion to discharge the water to be treated, drawn in through the inflow portion; and solid particles which are movable by the water to be treated, wherein the movable solid particles are filled in at least a portion of the inner space.Accordingly, there is an effect that physical sterilization is possible by killing or inactivating living organism included in water to be treated by applying a shock to the living organism.

Abstract: A solution for treating a fluid, such as water, is provided. An ultraviolet transparency of a fluid can be determined before or as the fluid enters a disinfection chamber. In the disinfection chamber, the fluid can be irradiated by ultraviolet radiation to harm microorganisms that may be present in the fluid. One or more attributes of the disinfection chamber, fluid flow, and/or ultraviolet radiation can be adjusted based on the transparency to provide more efficient irradiation and/or higher disinfection rates. In addition, various attributes of the disinfection chamber, such as the position of the inlet(s) and outlet(s), the shape of the disinfection chamber, and other attributes of the disinfection chamber can be utilized to create a turbulent flow of the fluid within the disinfection chamber to promote mixing and improve uniform ultraviolet exposure.

Abstract: The present invention provides a set of ozone water manufacturing device which can greatly reduce an unpleasant smell of ozone gas when ozone water is used for sterilizing hands and feet, and can save power consumption of a pump which operates for preventing stagnation of a water stream in an electrolytic bath. The ozone water manufacturing device includes an electrolytic bath and a mixer which atomizes air bubbles of the ozone gas in the ozone water flowing out of the electrolytic bath. Each of the electrode assemblies in an electrode unit within the electrolytic bath is inclined at the predetermined same angle in a vertical direction. The mixer includes a mixing case bottom and a mixing case main body. A vortex flow generating plate generates a violent water stream from the water stream within the mixing case main body.

Abstract: A fluid treatment apparatus is described. The fluid treatment apparatus includes: (i) a pulverizer designed to pulverize solids present in a fluid flow to produce pulverized solids admixed with the fluid flow; (ii) a rotatable shaft for rotating the pulverized solids and the fluid flow; (iii) a restrictor or filter for retaining a first portion of the pulverized solids, and allowing a second portion of pulverized solids and a second portion of the fluid flow to pass therethrough; and (iv) a first recirculating line configured to receive the first portion of the pulverized solids and a first portion of the fluid flow that did not pass through the restrictor or the filter.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for treatment of waste water, comprising a tank for receiving a waste water influent via an influent pump and discharging a treated waste water effluent via an effluent pump; a screen decanter disposed in the tank, the screen having a pore size of about 50 micrometers; and a timer operationally connected to the floating decanter and the effluent pump. Solids are settled from the waste water and drawn off through the tank bottom after a supernatant fluid is drawn off through the floating screen decanter. The supernatant fluid may be passed through a filtration and membrane water purification apparatus to generate purified water.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for treating greywater from a microbial food decomposition process. A method includes flowing, into a mixing chamber of a water treatment tank, a first volume of untreated greywater. A second volume of recirculated greywater mixed with ozone gas is flowed into the mixing chamber, and mixes with the first volume of untreated greywater to produce a third volume. The third volume of greywater is flowed into a storage tank. The method further includes diverting a first portion of the third volume out of the water treatment tank, and diverting a second portion of the third volume into a recirculation line that flows the second portion back to the mixing chamber.
