Abstract: Polymer composition comprising: 1) a polymer (P1) comprising at least 50% by weight of monomeric units derived from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (M1), and 2) at least one co-oligomer (O1) comprising at least: a) a component (A) comprising at least one monomeric unit identical to that derived from the monomer (M1) on which the polymer (P1) is based, and b) a component (B) comprising at least one monomeric unit (m2), derived from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, carrying at least one group chosen from the following groups: —CaH2a+1 with a between 6 and 30; —(CH2)b—CcF2c+1 with b between 1 and 11 and c greater than or equal to 5; —(CH2)d—(Si(CH3)2—O)e—Si(CH3)3 with d between 1 and 11 and e between 1 and 1000; —COOH; —SO3H, and the phosphonate groups —PO(OH)(OR1) with R1 being a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 11 carbon atoms.

Abstract: An applicator assembly for mixing at least a first and a second component is provided. The applicator assembly includes a manifold configured for operable engagement with first and second source of component, the manifold including first and second component channels therethrough, an elongated shaft extending distally from the manifold, the elongated shaft including first and second component lumens extending the length thereof, the first and second component channels in fluid communication with the first and second component lumens, a tip assembly defining a first chamber, an intermediate chamber and a final chamber, wherein the first chamber is configured to receive a distal end of the elongated shaft, the second chamber is configured to receive an insert, and the final chamber is configured to receive the first and second components prior to the mixture being ejected from an outlet defined in the distal end of the tip assembly.

Abstract: A thermal ink jet recording paper, incorporating dewatered and milled precipitated calcium carbonate (“PCC”) is disclosed. Precipitated calcium carbonate is dewatered and milled in the presence of an amphoteric or anionic dispersant to produce a high solids PCC composition.When used in coating formulations the PCC has a surface morphology and chemistry that enhances the printability of ink jet paper. Ink jet recording paper incorporating the PCC of the present invention has reduced ink feathering and spreading as well as improved optical density, dry time, and water fastness.

Abstract: A low firing rate oxy-fuel burner which may be comprised of commercially available standard components and which includes an oxidant conduit and a fuel conduit within the oxidant conduit. Abstract: A free-radical curable polish composition is described. The composition can be applied and cured as an ultra thin film on finished surfaces to provide enhanced chemical and mar resistance. The composition comprises an aqueous emulsion including an olefin-functional polymer or an olefin-functional prepolymer, and a silicone or silicone copolymer preferably with photoinitiators for UV and EB cure. The polish/emulsion can be applied, for example, to wet the surface of nitrocellulose lacquer wood finishes. The polish wet surface is first wiped to remove excess polish and thereafter exposed to UV radiation to provide a thin, polymerized protective film.
