    摘要: Methods of manufacturing rotor blade components for a wind turbine and rotor blade components produced in accordance with such methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method generally includes providing a mold of the rotor blade component; coating at least a portion of an interior surface of the mold with an elastomeric material; inserting a foam material within the mold; and, removing the rotor blade component from the mold, wherein the elastomeric material forms a cover skin around at least a portion of the rotor blade component. In an alternative embodiment, the method includes providing at least one support member defining a profile for the rotor blade component on a mold surface; coating at least a portion of the support member with an elastomeric material; and, allowing the elastomeric material to cure on the mold surface so as to form the rotor blade component.

    摘要: A mold system for manufacturing wind turbine blades includes two mold halves shaped for molding respective mold halves. A first mold is supported by a hinge system which is capable of moving the mold from a first position wherein the mold faces upwards to a position wherein the first mold faces the second mold. A final linear displacement of the first mold is carried out by actuators which may be integrated with the first or the second mold. The actuators are engaged with the hinge system so that the first mold is displaceable or the hinge system holding the first mold is displaceable. In both alternatives the actuators merely transfer the load of the first mold to a support via the hinge system.

    摘要: A tower structure for a wind energy turbine, wind power, renewable energy, and other uses made of concrete, steel-reinforced concrete or other materials, and a method of manufacture thereof are described. The structure includes several pre-fabricated tower lengths, each tower length having at least three pre-fabricated wedges, such that a central protruding edge of each wedge approaches or lies at a center line of the tower structure when assembled. Tower lengths higher in the tower may be narrower and may be made up of fewer wedges than lower tower lengths. Each tower length may also include several apertures or channels adapted to accommodate a cable joining all the tower lengths of the tower. Also, tower lengths may have a circular or polygonal outer ring made up of bracing elements, each bracing element arranged when assembled to brace one or more wedges.

    摘要: A method of moulding a wind-turbine blade in a mould is described. The method includes arranging a number of markers on an interior of the mould; arranging a composite layup in the mould; and assembling and curing the composite layup in the mould such that a negative impression of a marker is formed on a surface of the composite layup, which negative impression facilitates correct positioning of the blade relative to a component in a subsequent assembly step. A mould for moulding a wind-turbine blade; a wind-turbine blade moulded using such a mould; and a positioning device for positioning a drilling and/or milling tool relative to a root portion of a wind-turbine blade moulded using the inventive method are disclosed. A method of manufacturing a wind-turbine blade is also disclosed.
