摘要： A digital printer is provided with an automated printing sheet transport system, operating in an intermittent manner of feeding a printing sheet to the digital printer, halting the transport to allow printing onto the printing sheet while the printing sheet is maintained in a fixed position, and removing the printed sheet from the digital printer after printing. The digital printer may be combined with a screen print station, both operating on top of a single printing sheet transport system, to form an integrated multifunctional and hybrid printing press.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a substrate having a surface with projections. A printing plate, with a least one part formed from a ferromagnetic material, and which has viscous material penetrating portions for forming projections on a flat surface, is brought into contact with the surface of a substrate. The printing plate is then clamped to the substrate by means of attraction by a magnetic force from behind the substrate. The viscous material penetrating portions of the printing plate are filled up with a viscous material for forming projections. The viscous material forms a layer on the substrate in a shape that is the same as that of the projections. The printing plate is separated from the substrate and the viscous material printed onto the substrate solidifies to form the projections.

摘要： A printer plate locating device used in the alignment of printer plates with respect to a screen or stencil holder of a screen printing machine. The present invention is particularly useful when used in a multi-station printing machine where the printing machine sequentially moves the printer plates into a printing station to affect the printing or image transfer. The present invention consists of two securely connected rigid plates and a system of actuators. The mounting plate 1 acts as a support or structural member for the rest of the apparatus. The alignment plate, being smaller in size than the mounting plate, provides edges against which the substrate locating devices of the printer plate make contact. In operation, the present invention is fastened to the screen holder in place of a screen or stencil on the first station of the machine. The actuators are positioned relative to the printer plate such that upon energizing, the actuators propel the printer plate into contact with the alignment plate of the apparatus. Additionally, access is provided to the lockdown devices of the printer plate to enable clamping or lockdown to the machine while the actuators are energized, thus maintaining position of the printer plate relative to the screen holder.

Each component mounting apparatus includes a first substrate carrying lane and a second substrate carrying lane, carries a first type substrate on which a first pattern has been printed in the first substrate carrying lane, performs a component mounting-relevant operation on the first type substrate, carries a second type substrate on which a second pattern has been printed in the second substrate carrying lane, and performs a component mounting-relevant operation on the second type substrate. The screen printing apparatus selects a type of the substrate to be carried in depending on whether a substrate is carried in the second component mounting apparatus downstream from the screen printing apparatus.
