A bulk polymerized grafted and crosslinkable thermoplastic polyolefin powder composition having elasticity and flexibility properties, which is in the form of a powder intended for the production of flexible coatings by free flow over a hot mold, characterized in that it contains: a) from 100 to 5% by weight and preferably from 80 to 20% by weight of at least one homopolymer of ethylene and/or at least one copolymer containing at least 50 molar % of ethylene; b) from 0 to 95% by weight and preferably from 20 to 80% by weight of at least one thermoplastic elastomer; c) from 0.1 to 15 parts by weight and preferably from 0.5 to 10 parts by weight of a grafting agent, per 100 parts by weight of the accumulated components nullanull and nullbnull. This powder composition is suitable for the production of flexible coatings by its free flow over a hot mold.

Disclosed herein is a game ball and method for making the same. The game ball has an ionomeric cover which includes a combination of ionomeric crosslinks and covalent crosslinks. The game ball cover is superior in at least one of cut resistance and scuff resistance to a conventional cover that does not have covalent crosslinks but is otherwise substantially identical in composition. The game ball cover of the invention is particularly useful for improving the durability of golf balls to be struck with sharp-grooved clubs.

Described is an alkoxylated composition that comprises a family of trans carbon-carbon double bond free compositions that generally have melting points that range from 30-80 null C., preferably with melting points between 55-58null C. and with a solubility profile compatible with a broad range of cosmetic and industrial chemical bases. At room temperature (null20 null C.), this family of compositions varies from pourable liquids, to soft creams, to pasty waxes, to a brittle hard material. The composition may be blended with different melting point components within the family to form other products with selected melting points and specific physical properties or feel. These compounds, whether used pure or when combined with other carrier and vehicle components (including other additives, thickeners or binders) can form excellent carrier and vehicles for delivery of compositions for use in the cosmetic, personal care and/or pharmaceutical field, including the cosmeceutical field where cosmetic compositions also provide pharmaceutical or other therapeutic benefits.
