    摘要： A two stroke engine comprises a cylinder, in which a combustion chamber bounded by a piston is formed, and an intake passage. A carburetor forms a section of the intake passage, within which a throttle element is mounted pivotably, and at least one main fuel opening and at least one idling fuel opening open into the intake passage, which is divided downstream of the carburetor into an air passage and a mixture passage. The idling fuel opening feeds a secondary passage arranged within the mixture passage. In the idling position, the throttle element may be arranged adjacent to the upstream entry opening in the secondary passage, and the throttle element may have an opening which, in the idling position of the throttle element, is arranged in the region of the entry opening and connects the secondary passage to that region of the intake passage located upstream of the throttle element.

    摘要： A carburetor with a throttle valve is provided in which a linkage member is in communication with the throttle valve. An idle down handle can be moved from an unactuated position to an actuated position and is in communication with the throttle valve. Movement of the idle down handle to the actuated position causes the throttle valve to be placed into the closed position. When the idle down handle is in the unactuated position the throttle linkage member can cause the throttle valve to be moved back and forth between the open and closed positions.

    摘要： An air throttle for an internal combustion engine having a shaft mounted butterfly vane mounted for rotation in the engine charge air inlet. The butterfly vane and shaft have an idle air bleed slot therethrough with a tubular idle valve mounted over said shaft for concentric rotation thereabout. With the butterfly vane closed for idle mode running, the idle valve is rotated between set limits to control idle air flow and idle speed. Upon rotation of the idle valve beyond the set limits, the butterfly is progressively opened for off-idle mode running speed control.

    摘要： Disclosed is a carburetor for internal combustion engines which minimizes the effect on the engine of carburetor ice.To overcome the effect of ice build-up the throttle valve on the side adjacent the idle jet, is bent upstream, thus providing a greater opening between the idle jet and the adjacent part of the throttle valve and a lesser opening on the opposite side of the throttle valve at idle and intermediate throttle openings. Increasing the operating angle of the idle jet half of the throttle valve upstream, toward the vertical position, deters the build-up of ice. Furthermore my invention exposes an ice deposit to the incoming fuel-air mixture, causing early erosion of the same and elimination of prolonged operation with over-rich or lean mixtures.
