    摘要: A compression machine (110) includes an oscillating body (111) oscillating between two reversal points (U1, U2), wherein the oscillating body has a first mass (m1), and a maximum value of resulting compression force (F*) when the oscillating body is used is less by a predetermined factor (F) than a maximum value of the resulting compression force when an oscillating reference body (121) having a reference mass (mref) is used in a reference compression machine (120) of same construction and using the same fluid (112), wherein the first mass exceeds the reference mass by a percentage that is a function of the predetermined factor, and wherein maximum value of the resulting compression force is reduced by the predetermined factor F by reducing cross-sectional area (A) of the oscillating reference body if the oscillating reference body were used. A related method is also provided.

Condensate inside the storage tank descends to the lowest point in the tank, where a single port is located. The port can serve as both an inlet for compressed air to the storage tank and an outlet of compressed air from the storage tank. The condensate is drawn from the storage tank to the manifold assembly through an air conduit and out of the air compressor assembly through a connected tool when the tool is activated.

The suction space is at least partly bounded by a flexible body and located between end elements, at least one of which can be driven so as to move in a reciprocating manner. The delivery space surrounds the suction space and around which a housing is provided. The valves are provided in the housing and in at least one of the end elements, and are constructed such that when a volume of the suction space is increased, a medium is sucked into said suction space, and when the volume is reduced, the medium flows through one of the valves to the delivery space, from which it is expelled when the volume of the delivery space is reduced.

    摘要: An air compressor system useful for supplying a stream of compressed air for an end user is disclosed which includes a refrigerated dryer useful to remove moisture and harvest it from the compressed air. The refrigerated dryer includes an evaporator and a condenser, where the evaporator is useful to produce the moisture from the compressed air. The air compressor system includes an expansion tank which collects the harvested moisture from the evaporator and a supply line from a utility water supply, both of which can be used to provide liquid to a condenser of the dryer. A valve is used to bring together either or both of the condensate from the expansion tank and water from the utility water supply. The valve includes an outlet that provides liquid to a condenser of the dryer.

    摘要: A motor-fan unit for a wet pick-up type of vacuum cleaner comprising a fan-section and a separately ventilated motor section. A motor-end bracket in the motor housing structure serves as a common end wall with the fan section and carries a bearing for the common shaft of the motor and fan. A baffle carried by the motor-end bracket within the fan section has an apertured central portion, at least partly enclosing the bearing, to provide a passage-way for high velocity air sealing the bearing from detergent-containing cleaning liquid entrained in working air drawn into the fan section. A normally closed check valve at an inlet to the sealing air passageway inhibits back-flow of either air or liquid through the inlet but permits such sealing air to serve as cooling air when the entrance of working air into the fan section is impeded.

    摘要: This invention relates to a vacuum pump. The pump includes a pump housing (10) having upper and lower cylindrical, partly liquid filled, compression chambers (11 and 12 respectively) which are separated from each other and in which an upper and a lower part (14, 15) of a piston (12) is movable. The piston has a passage (21) which is provided with a check valve and which provides communication between the upper and the lower chamber (11 and 12 respectively). The upper chamber communicates, via an opening (26) which is provided with a check valve, with a liquid filled de-aeration receptacle (27). The lower chamber (12), during a part of the movement of the piston, via an inlet (33), communicates with the space being evacuated.
