摘要: An elastic rubber bearing is provided with an intermediate tube, namely, a bush bearing with a reinforcing insert arranged in the elastomeric bearing body. The design of the bearing includes a pretension, which is distributed as uniformly as possible both in relation to the circumference and in the axial direction. The pretension is generated in the elastomer in a bearing body after the vulcanization by calibrating the outer sleeve. A reinforcing element of the bearing includes an intermediate tube slotted on two sides in relation to its axial extension.

摘要: An Automatic Transmission Input Drum Support Ring and Method is disclosed. Also disclosed is a support ring that is installable on the input drum of a conventional General Motors 700R4 automatic transmission in order to prevent overtorque-related cracking of this component. The device is configured to permit the transmission oiling/piston system to function as originally designed. The method for reinforcing a conventional transmission involves the installation of the support ring without the need for substantial modification of the conventional transmission.

The flange has a mating surface with a second anti-slip portion. the grease cover has a first mating surface with a third anti-slip portion adapted to receive and mate with the first anti-slip portion of the constant velocity joint, and a second mating surface with a fourth anti-slip portion adapted to receive and mate with the second anti-slip portion of the flange. The respective anti-slip portions functions to reduce shearing forces on connecting bolts of the assembly caused by applied torque.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to prevent occurrence of play between a hub ring and a stem portion of a joint outer ring. In a wheel bearing device in which a hub ring, a double-row bearing and a constant velocity universal joint are unitized together, one of double-row inner raceways of a bearing is formed on the joint outer ring of the constant velocity universal joint, and an end portion of the joint outer ring is fitted to an outside periphery of the hub ring through serrated portions, wherein the hub ring is plastically deformed and expanded from an inside diameter side toward an outside diameter side by pushing a steel ball into a through hole of the hub ring, and play in the serrated portions is prevented by the diameter expansion. Another object of the present invention is to make a bearing device more compact and to increase its rigidity. A joint outer ring is fitted onto an outside periphery of a hub ring with torque transmission means being provided between them, and the hub ring and the joint outer ring are coupled with each other by swaging an end portion of the hub ring. An inner ring having an inner raceway on its outside periphery is fitted to the joint outer ring for forming double-row inner raceways together with an inner raceway formed on the joint outer ring. An inboard end portion of the hub ring is extended beyond the position of the inboard inner raceway. A swaging constitution in which an axial end of the joint outer ring is swaged to be fixed to the hub ring also aims to prevent an occurrence of run-out of the wheel mounting flange of the hub ring. In a wheel bearing device in which the hub ring, the constant velocity universal joint and a double-row bearing are unitized together, at least one of the double-row inner raceways of the bearing and the wheel mounting flange are formed on the hub ring, and a stem portion of the joint outer ring of the constant velocity universal joint are fitted into the hub ring through serrated portions, wherein a pilot ring as a separate element is fitted to a side-end portion of the wheel mounting flange of the hub ring, and the hub ring and the pilot ring are fixed to the joint outer ring by swaging. Still another object of the invention is to increase strength of a base portion of a wheel mounting flange without changing the shapes and dimensions of the wheel mounting flange, and without increasing a carbon content in a material or adding strengthening elements to a material. In a wheel bewaring device in which a hub ring, a constant velocity universal joint and a double-row bearing are unitized together, at least one of the double-row inner raceways and the wheel mounting flange are formed on the hub ring, and a stem portion of the joint outer ring of the constant velocity universal joint is fitted into the hub ring through serrated portions, wherein a surface-hardened layer is formed on a base portion of the wheel mounting flange, or on a fillet portion located at a place extending from a brake rotor mounting surface to a tubular pilot portion.

摘要: Provided is a flexible resin boot of which the noise-preventing effect lasts long and which ensures improved sealability and durability. The boot is formed from a base resin of a thermoplastic elastomer resin, and has a large port and a small port that are connected with each other via a bellows therebetween. For this, mineral oil or vegetable oil is added to the thermoplastic elastomer resin. Preferably, the thermoplastic elastomer resin is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, and the mineral oil is process oil having an aromatic content of at most 13%. The boot is used for covering the constant velocity joint in an automobile.

摘要: A boot for a universal joint is constructed by a boot body and a boot adapter. The one end of the boot is fitted on a propeller inner shaft via its one-end fitting portion and the other end of the boot is fitted on the outer race of the universal joint via its other-end fitting portion, thereby substantially covering the universal joint. The foregoing one-end fitting portion has an annular lip portion at its end portion. Passages for flowing air between the inside of the boot and the outside of the boot are formed on the one-end fitting portion and the annular lip portion. The passages are closed by the annular lip portion being expanded in diameter outward by a centrifugal force caused by the high rotation of the propeller inner shaft, thereby preventing splashed water or muddy water from intruding into the boot when air is sucked into the boot.
