摘要: A combination for supplying fluid to a battery, a vehicle and a method of assembling the combination. The combination includes the battery and a filling pod. The filling pod includes a filling pod housing having a filling pod port fluidly connectable to a fluid source for receiving fluid from the fluid source, a first fluid supply member fluidly connectable to a first cell and for supplying fluid from the filling pod port to the first cell, a second fluid supply member fluidly connectable to a second cell and for supplying fluid from the filling pod port and to the second cell, and an integral channel in fluid communication between the filling pod port, the first fluid supply member and the second fluid supply member. The channel includes a first channel portion in fluid communication between the filling pod port and the first fluid supply member and a second channel portion in fluid communication between the filling pod port and the second fluid supply member. When fluid is supplied to the filling pod through the filling pod port, a first amount of fluid flows through the first channel portion to the first fluid supply member and to the first cell, and a second amount of fluid flows through the second channel portion to the second fluid supply member and to the second cell.

摘要: An apparatus for regulating voltage and power in a computer system is disclosed. The voltage and power regulation is performed by voltage regulation circuitry on a voltage regulator module. The voltage regulator module is a detachable unit which interfaces with the motherboard through a socket connector. The socket connector has a fixed pin definition which allows a variety of voltage regulator modules programmed to regulate voltages and power at different levels to be implemented on the motherboard.

摘要: A booster-enhanced power supply for a valve control circuit is disclosed. An inductor repeatedly stores energy from a power source, then discharges it through a diode into a capacitor due to the cycling on and off of a switch. The charged capacitor is used as the power source for changing the state of the valve. The charge stored on the capacitor(s) at any given moment is preferably monitored, and the charging cycle is preferably controlled to optimize the use of the boosting circuit for a given application. The boosted power source can provide a consistent output even when the power source provides an consistent power output even when the power source provides an inconsistent power input.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for solving the Navier-Stokes equation of viscous, incompressible laminar flows with moving free surfaces in complex domains. The method uses fixed mesh control volume-finite element techniques to track the flow. A gauss point velocity vector is defined as the average of its nodal counterpart, such that the gauss point velocity vector is constant over the element. The gauss point velocity vector is then inserted into the continuity constraint to form the Poisson pressure equation for solving the pressure field. The solution to the Poisson pressure equation is unique, the common checker-board problem is therefore eliminated. The corrected pressure field is substituted into the momentum equations, so that the resulting velocity field satisfies the continuity equation. Since velocity and pressure are evaluated at the same order, the global mass conservation can be evaluated to machine round-off tolerances.

摘要: A method and system for distribution of stand-by electric power via a network separate from the standard or ordinary electric power network is disclosed. Voltages are transformed/produced in voltage sources, TR and then branched off in control devices, S, to devices, A. The devices, A, distribute the voltages to loading equipment, for instance telecommunications devices, network equipment or medical equipment. Furthermore, surveillance devices, Ö, communicate with the voltage sources, the control devices, and the devices, A, to control electronic power drains, and to transfer control orders for execution.

摘要: A control system (10) actively limits the power drawn from a main power distribution bus (20) by one or more electric loads (30). The system (10) includes circuitry (14) for determining a maximum permissible current magnitude that may be supplied to the loads (30) based on a signal representative of the voltage magnitude supplied to the loads (30). Additional circuitry (18, 34) limits the power drawn from the main power distribution bus (20) to the maximum permissible current magnitude from exceeding a predetermined maximum power level. As a result, the required design capacity of power generation components and the power distribution system can be reduced in size, weight, and cost.

The plurality of liquid containers are configured to contain liquid chemicals respectively. The at least one liquid dispenser is configured to dispense the liquid chemicals from the plurality of liquid containers to the plural reaction vessels according to a synthesizing protocol. The liquid amount storage is configured to memorize a present amount of each of the liquid chemicals in the plurality of liquid containers. The dispensing amount calculator is configured to calculate a dispensing amount of each of the liquid chemicals to be dispensed according to the synthesizing protocol. The liquid shortage detector is configured to detect shortages of the liquid chemicals in the plurality of liquid containers by comparing the present amount memorized in the liquid amount storage and the dispensing amount calculated by the dispensing amount calculator.
