Abstract: An apparatus and method for high pressure treatment of bulk material by extraction and/or impregnation may involve high pressure treating bulk material in a high pressure treatment volume of a pressure vessel apparatus at a high pressure level, especially high pressure in the range from 40 to 1000 bar. The method comprises at least the three following step sequences that are each controllable individually: pressurization, high pressure treatment, and depressurization. The high pressure treatment is performed in a continuous manner in the high pressure treatment volume. The high pressure treatment volume or the entire pressure vessel apparatus is in a fixed arrangement during the high pressure treatment. The continuity of the high pressure treatment is ensured solely by means of the high pressure treatment volume. This especially enables engineering optimization of high pressure treatment processes, for example extraction.

Abstract: The present invention relates to devices for maintaining a state of equilibrium, and process set-ups to perform equilibrium reactions using heterogeneous catalysts, in particular said reactions are equilibrium reactions where at least one reaction product is volatile. The invention is especially interesting for enzymatic reactions using immobilized enzymes, although it is also useful for pure chemical reactions. The invention is characterized by a combination of non-impact mixing of components and volatilization and/or removal of excess molecules, thereby maintaining a state of equilibrium or driving an equilibrium reaction. The present invention also relates to devices and/or process set-ups and materials made using said processes.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an immersion type rotating packed-bed reactor and an application thereof. A rotor filler is immersed in materials in the reactor; under the driving of the rotation of a rotor, the materials in the reactor form a loop; and when passing through the filler, the materials are fully sheared and dispersed into fluid micro-elements, so that the mass transfer rate and the reaction rate are increased. A feeding assembly simultaneously introduces materials of different phases to an inner edge of the rotor, a retaining ring and a baffle function to break a vortex, and a heat exchange assembly can maintain a system in a suitable temperature range. The present invention is suitable for heterogeneous systems such as a gas-liquid system and a liquid-liquid system. Compared with a conventional rotating packed bed, the material contact time is long, so that the reaction is more complete.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing nonylcyclohexanol is provided. The method includes steps as follows: adding a liquid phase reactant into a reactor, and the liquid phase reactant includes a molten nonylphenol and a catalyst; introducing a gas phase reactant to maintain a pressure of the gas phase reactant to be from 36.5 bar to 70 bar, and the gas phase reactant consists of hydrogen; rotating a hollow stirring shaft of the reactor at a temperature of from 100° C. to 130° C. so that the gas phase reactant is transported through a channel formed in the hollow stirring shaft into the liquid phase reactant for carrying out a reaction; obtaining a product that contains nonylcyclohexanol. A conversion rate of the nonylcyclohexanol is higher than or equal to 99.0%.

Abstract: The invention relates to the chemical industry and can be used for processing methane and other volatile, liquid, solid fusible hydrocarbons when producing hydrogen, soot, and other flammable gases. The invention relates to a method for the pyrolytic decomposition of hydrocarbons, in which a pyrolysis reactor arranged in a space bounded by a lining is heated by flue gases generated by combusting a hydrogen-enriched mixture of air and gaseous hydrocarbons, while ensuring a maximum decrease in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. The invention also relates to a unit for the pyrolytic decomposition of hydrocarbons. The technical result is a high degree of separation of hydrogen and carbon by fast high-temperature pyrolysis at atmospheric pressure without oxygen supply and without CO2 production.
