    Abstract: A beadlock to secure a tire to a wheel. The beadlock comprises a first grip element and a second grip element. The first grip element is welded to the outer rim of a wheel. A bead of the tire is positioned over the first grip element. The second grip element has a plurality of rib elements angularly spaced around its periphery. The second grip element is secured to the first grip element such that the ribs grip the bead to hold it in place and secure the tire to the wheel.

    Abstract: A wheel hub includes a support ring (1). The support ring(1) includes an integrally formed inner wheel rim (11), a large span dual bearing support frame (12), and a rotor protection frame support groove (13). A lateral end of the support ring (1) is detachably provided with a tire quick replacing ring (2). The inner wheel rim (11) is provided with a first tire sealing face (101). The tire quick replacing ring (2) is provided with a second tire sealing face (201). A wheel hub motor wheel uses the above mentioned wheel hub. An electric vehicle uses the wheel hub motor wheel. Through the above wheel hub motor wheel and the electric vehicle, rapid replacement of a tire or rapid removal of the tire from the wheel hub for maintenance can be implemented without removing the wheel hub of the wheel from a vehicle body; this allows the replacement or maintenance of the tire to be time-saving, effort-saving, and greatly convenient. In addition, the wheel hub also provides a brake radius as large as possible and a maximized rotor space of an external rotor motor.

    Abstract: A wheel assembly includes a wheel base and a side rim disposed about the wheel base. A recess is formed on an inside surface of the side rim. A cavity is disposed between the wheel base and the side rim. An air seal is disposed between the wheel base and the side rim. A locking mechanism secures the side rim in position around the wheel base. The locking mechanism is configured to prevent the air seal from disengaging with the inside surface and allowing air to exit the wheel assembly between the wheel base and the side rim when the locking mechanism is properly installed. The locking mechanism is also configured to permit the air seal to disengage the inside surface and allow air to exit the wheel assembly between the wheel base and the side rim when the locking mechanism is not properly installed.

    Abstract: A bead lock tire rim with a supplemental tread on the bead lock to protect the rim and the bolts. The tread extends past the edge of the rim to keep the tire from being split and the side area of the supplemental tread protects the bead lock while providing enhanced traction to the sidewall of the rim. A rim using a rounded projection to eliminate tire cutting and recessed nut locations with secure faceting is also provided for simple field repairs and long term durability.

    Abstract: A multi-piece wheel structure (16) permits inflation of a tire (10) mounted thereon only when components constituting the wheel structure (16) are locked together. The wheel structure (16) includes an annular rim base (18) having an outer periphery (30) with an indentation (36), an annular restraining flange (22) arranged about the rim base (18) which prevents axial movement of the tire (10) mounted on the rim base (18), a locking ring (24) which is insertable in the indentation (36) between the restraining flange (22) and the rim base (18) and on one axial side of the restraining flange (22), a conduit structure (44,46) which extends through the rim base (18), at least one connection hole (52) in the rim base (18) connecting the conduit structure (44,46) to the indentation (36), and a sealing plug (26) located in the hole (52) in sealing engagement with the rim base (18) and properly assembled locking ring (24). If the locking ring (24) is improperly assembled in the indentation (36) the sealing plug (26) escapes from the connection hole (52), passes into the indentation (36), and permits escape of air from the tire's interior (10a).
