摘要: A control device associated with an autonomous vehicle receives sensor data and detects that the autonomous vehicle is approaching a railroad crossing based on the sensor data. The control device determines a target lane to travel while crossing the railroad. The target lane is a lane that has available space with at least a length of the autonomous vehicle on the other side of the railroad as opposed to a side of the railroad where the autonomous vehicle is currently traveling. The control device instructs the autonomous vehicle to travel on the target lane. The control device determines that no train is approaching the railroad crossing. The control device instructs the autonomous vehicle to cross the railroad if the target lane still provides available space with at least the length of the autonomous vehicle on the other side of the railroad.

摘要: A first obstacle colliding with the ADV is detected. A minimum deceleration that is required for the ADV to avoid colliding with a second obstacle within a predetermined proximity of a moving direction is determined. A brake command is generated based on the minimum deceleration. Then, the brake command is applied to the ADV, such that the ADV avoids collision with the second obstacle and softens an impact of the collision with the first obstacle.

摘要: A machine control system includes an agricultural work machine having an ECU coupled via a system bus to control engine functions, a GPS receiver, data collector, and specialized guidance system including a stored program. The data collector captures agricultural geospatial data including location data for the work machine and data from the ECU, and executes the stored program to: (a) capture geometries of the farm; (b) capture agricultural geospatial data; (c) automatically classify the agricultural geospatial data using the geometries of the farm, into activity/event categories including operational, travel, and ancillary events; (d) aggregate the classified data to create geospatial data events; (e) match the geospatial data events to a model to generate matched events; (f) use the matched events to generate actionable information for the working machine in real time or near real-time; and (g) send operational directives to the agricultural work machine based on the actionable information.

摘要: An integrated control apparatus for in-wheel system vehicle is provided. The apparatus includes a shift button for a shift control and a dial for a steering control which are assembled integrally to each other to form one integrated component. The apparatus provides a driver with vehicle information through an operation of the dial when the steering control is not performed, and eliminates a risk of accidents occurring due to a control error by configuring a shift control manner and a steering control manner to be different from each other.

摘要: A speed control system (12) for a vehicle (100), the speed control system (12) being configured to: automatically cause application of positive and negative torque, as required, to one or more wheels of a vehicle (100) to cause a vehicle to travel in accordance with a target speed value, the target speed value being stored in a memory of the control system (12); and detect a crest of a slope ahead of the vehicle (100); wherein the speed control system (12) is configured automatically to attempt to adjust a speed of the vehicle (100) to cause the vehicle (100) to travel at a predetermined crest speed value when a crest of a slope is detected ahead of the vehicle (100), the predetermined crest speed value being determined in dependence at least in part on terrain gradient information respect of terrain prior to the crest.

摘要: A method for operating an accelerator pedal-controlled distance controller of a vehicle. The distance controller regulates a distance to a target vehicle as a function of an actuator pedal value of the vehicle and activates automatic braking operations as necessary. A braking operation is aborted when the accelerator pedal value is increased during the braking operation.

摘要: A vehicle control device includes a travel environment recognition device configured to recognize travel environment, a vehicle travel state detection device, and an autonomous/manual driving mode controller. The autonomous/manual driving mode controller includes a learning correction unit configured to store at least one of a plurality of control parameters indicating the vehicle travel state by operation of the driver in the autonomous driving mode, and to correct the control parameter in the autonomous driving mode according to the stored control parameter. When the stored control parameter is the control parameter changed by an operation by the driver midway in passing or after passing, the learning correction unit is configured to correct the control parameter in the autonomous driving mode so that an acceleration level or the deceleration level is increased midway in passing or after passing.
