摘要: From the viewpoint of a decrease in environmental impact in recent years, an object of the present invention is to effectively utilize lignin as a circulative biomass resource having high effect of reducing environmental impact. Specifically, the object is to provide a lignin derivative that can improve the dispersibility of various substances to be dispersed regardless of uses of cements, dyes, oil field drilling mud, and the like. The present invention provides a lignin derivative compound that is a reaction product of a lignin sulfonic acid-based compound with an aromatic water-soluble compound, and a dispersant containing the same. The lignin derivative compound preferably has an anionic functional group and/or a polyalkylene oxide chain.

摘要: A building constructed with a reduced-carbon-emission portland cement concrete slab-on-ground (PCC SoG) having a nominal thickness that is less than a PCC SoG design for the ground site having a design thickness based on design guidelines set forth by the American Concrete Institute. Carbon emission savings for the reduced-carbon-emission PCC SoG and a video record of the surface of the ground site prior to construction of the reduced-carbon-emission PCC SoG are stored by a processor in a first database. The processor verifies that the building constructed with the reduced-carbon-emission PCC SoG has been completed. The processor transfers at least a portion of the carbon emission savings and the video record stored in the first database to a second database in preparation for the sale or exchange of the carbon emission savings only after the processor verifies that the building constructed with the reduced-carbon-emission PCC SoG has been completed.

摘要: A process for producing a pozzolan from a starting material. The starting material is size-reduced and incorporated into an aqueous slurry. The size-reduction can be carried out before or after incorporation into the aqueous slurry. Pressurized gas containing carbon dioxide is supplied to the aqueous slurry, and the aqueous slurry is mixed in the presence of the pressurized gas for a treatment period.

摘要: A cement paste composition includes a curable component including a cementitious material and a zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (ZIF-67) present in an amount of 0.01 to 3% by weight based on a total weight of the cementitious material. The composition further includes water in an amount of 30 to 50% by weight based on a total weight of the cement paste composition. A cured specimen made from the cement paste composition has a compressive strength of 30 to 80 megapascal (MPa) according to ASTM C109/C109M-21 standard test method, and a direct tensile strength of 1.2 to 2.2 MPa according to ASTM C307-18 standard test method. The ZIF-67 particles are uniformly distributed throughout the cured specimen. A method of producing the cement paste specimen.

摘要: The invention comprises a method of mineralization of carbon dioxide. The method comprises delivering hyaloclastite, a volcanic glass or pumice to a mill capable of reducing the particle size of the hyaloclastite, a volcanic glass or pumice; processing the hyaloclastite, a volcanic glass or pumice in the mill so that the processed hyaloclastite, a volcanic glass or pumice has a volume-based mean particle size of less than or equal to 40 μm; and exposing the hyaloclastite, a volcanic glass or pumice to carbon dioxide in gaseous, liquid or solid form during or after the particle reduction process. Optionally a carbon dioxide sorbent or carbonation enhancing agent is added to the hyaloclastite pozzolan or mineral during the grinding or post-grinding process and combined with carbon dioxide during grinding or post grinding.

A method may include cementing a wellbore by introducing a cement slurry into a wellbore, where the cement slurry includes a phosphazene oligomer. The method then includes maintaining the cement slurry such that a cured cement sheath forms, the cement sheath having a polyphosphazene polymer.
