摘要: The present invention relates to a peptide ligand that specifically binds to carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX), a peptide construct comprising the ligand, and a use thereof. The CAIX-binding peptide ligand of the present invention includes D-amino acids, so it is stable in the body and has high binding specificity to CAIX. And the linear or cyclic CAIX-binding peptide construct comprising the ligand can bind to CAIX with high affinity in the body. Therefore, it is useful for diagnosis, prevention, suppression or treatment of diseases mediated by CAIX.

摘要: The present technology provides disulfide-containing lipopeptides of Formula I. Such lipids may be incorporated into lipid nanoparticles for delivery of nucleic acids, nucleotides (e.g., NAD+ or NADH), polypeptides (including proteins), and complexes of proteins and nucleic acids, e.g., Cas9 RNP. The present technology also provides methods for delivering the nanoparticles to a cell and methods of treating a condition or disorder using the lipid nanoparticles.

摘要: An improved method for the chemical synthesis of glycosylated peptides has been developed. The method uses stereoselective glycan synthesis and chemical peptide ligation to produce glycopeptides at lower-cost and with higher efficiency/yield compared to conventional methods. In particular, a method for the large-scale, chemical synthesis of hydroxylated amino acid building blocks and glycosylated amino acids suitable for solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) are disclosed. SPPS-based methods using the glycosylated amino acids to chemically synthesize adiponectin-like peptides are also described. In vivo studies show that the adiponectin mimicking glycopeptides exhibit significant anticancer, anti-obesity and insulin sensitizing effects. Pharmaceutical compositions of the synthetic glycopeptides and methods of use thereof in treating diseases associated with deficient adiponectin are also described.

摘要: Methods for making a site-specific modification of a glycoprotein are provided which preserve the charge and glycoform of the glycoprotein. One or more glycans are trimmed from the glycoprotein, while keeping a core glycan attached to the glycoprotein. The removal of the one or more glycans provides access to a targeted amino acid for a site-specific reaction. The attached core glycan can optionally be utilized for modulation of the glycoprotein, or one or more glycans or reagents can be attached to the core.
