The composition comprises an amphoteric polymer component, which has a weight average molecular weight of at least 600 000 g/mol, preferably at least 1 000 000 g/mol, more preferably at least 2 000 000 g/mol, and at least one synthetic cationic polymer component, which is a copolymer of a polyamidoamine and has a weight average molecular weight ≤550 000 g/mol, preferably ≤500 000 g/mol, more preferably ≤400 000 g/mol and dispersity index more than 15, preferably more than 20, more preferably more than 25.

    摘要: A method for the production of a fibrous product from a fibrous web, wherein the method comprises the steps of: —providing a fibrous suspension comprising a microfibrillated cellulose, wherein the content of the microfibrillated cellulose of said suspension is in the range of 60 to 99.9 weight-% based on total dry solid content, —adding an uncharged, amphoteric or weakly cationic polymer having a molecular weight of at least 50000 g/mol to said suspension, —adding an anionic polymer having a molecular weight of at least 00000 g/mol to said suspension to provide a mixture of said microfibrillated cellulose, said uncharged, amphoteric or weakly cationic polymer and said anionic polymer, 1—providing said mixture to a substrate to form a fibrous web, wherein the amount of uncharged, amphoteric or weakly cationic polymer in said mixture is in the range of 0.1 to 20 kg/metric ton based on total dry solid content and wherein the amount of anionic polymer in said mixture is in the range of 0.01 to 10 kg/metric ton based on total dry 20 solid content; and—dewatering said fibrous web to form a fibrous product.

    摘要: A size press composition for improving properties of lignocellulosic material is provided herein. The size press composition includes an aluminum salt and an anionic styrene acrylate emulsion sizing agent. The aluminum salt and the anionic styrene acrylate emulsion sizing agent are substantially homogeneously dispersed within the size press composition based on visual observation utilizing a microscope at 10× magnification. A size press composition formed by a process is also provided herein. The process includes combining a dye and a starch to form a dye mixture. The process further includes combining the dye mixture, a styrene acrylate emulsion sizing agent, and an aluminum salt to form the size press composition. The dye, the starch, the aluminum salt, and the styrene acrylate emulsion sizing agent are substantially homogeneously dispersed within the size press composition based on visual observation utilizing a microscope at 10× magnification.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a process for producing corrugated fiberboard from plies of paper which each have a grammage of 70 to 200 g/m2 and of which at least one ply of paper is obtained by a process comprising the addition of (A) 0.25 to 5 wt %, based on dry paper stock, of at least one cationic polymer comprising vinylamine units, and (B) 0 to 5 wt %, based on dry paper stock, of at least one polymeric anionic compound, to a paper stock, draining the paper stock by sheet formation, coating the paper web obtained with (C) 0.1 to 3 wt %, based on dry paper stock, of at least one starch and drying the coated paper web, wherein the polymeric anionic compound is selected from a polymeric anionic compound (B1) and a polymeric anionic compound (B2), wherein said polymeric anionic compound (B1) is obtainable by copolymerizing a monomer mixture comprising, preferably consisting of, (a) at least one monomer (a) selected from acrylamide and an N-vinylcarboxamide of the formula where R1 and R2 are each H or C1 to C6 alkyl, (b) at least one acid-functional monoethylenically unsaturated monomer and/or its alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or ammonium salts (b), and (c) optionally one or more monoethylenically unsaturated compounds (c) other than said monomers (a) and (b), and (d) optionally one or more compounds having at least two ethylenically unsaturated double bonds in the molecule, and said polymeric anionic compound (B2) is the hydrolysis product of said polymeric anionic compound (B1) whose carboxamide moieties have been partly or wholly hydrolyzed into amino groups, and also the corrugated fiberboard thus obtained and its use in the manufacture of packaging boxes from corrugated fiberboard.
