摘要: A paving mixture for application to a surface and a method for the same are provided. The mixture comprises a binding material layer applied to the surface to form a base layer on the surface, and an aggregate material layer applied on top of the binding material layer, wherein the binding material layer comprises at least 13% of the bitumen in the paving mixture by weight, the aggregate material layer contains an asphalt mixture that provides a road surface, and the aggregate material layer and the binding material layer are combined on the surface within 30 seconds of application of the binding material layer.

摘要: A method for repairing/treating a pavement with the use of a rheologically modifier is disclosed. The method comprises first applying a layer of a rheologically modifier composition comprising a rejuvenating component onto the top surface of the pavement that needs repair, then applying a second layer of an asphaltic binder onto the rheologically modifier layer. The second layer of asphaltic binder effectively seals the rheologically modifier layer with the rejuvenating component for intimate contact with the top pavement surface, thus penetrating the surface layer to extend the life of the pavement surface, arresting the deterioration of visco-elastic properties and restoring some of those properties.

摘要: A pavement repair system is provided utilizing solid phase auto regenerative cohesion and homogenization by liquid asphalt oligopolymerization technologies. The system is suitable for use in repairing asphalt pavement, including pavement exhibiting a high degree of deterioration (as manifested in the presence of potholes, cracks, ruts, or the like) as well as pavement that has been subject to previous repair and may comprise a substantial amount of dirt and other debris (e.g., chipped road paint or other damaged or disturbed surfacing materials). A system utilizing homogenization by liquid asphalt oligopolymerization is suitable for rejuvenating or repairing aged asphalt, thereby improving properties of the paving material.
