    摘要: A differential pressure motor comprising two working pistons and a rod that move in a hollow space. Walls defining the hollow space have five openings. A valve piston moves between and against the working pistons and can be driven by the working pistons. The valve piston with the five openings forms a valve with which an alternate impact of a first pressure and a second pressure on the working pistons is controllable when the pressures are applied to three of the five openings such that the working pistons periodically move which drives a periodic movement of the valve piston. Also disclosed are a surgical drive system with, a medical lavage system for the debridement of soft tissue and/or bone tissue having, and a medical device for brushing, rasping or sawing soft tissue and/or bone tissue with such a differential pressure motor, and a method for operating a differential pressure motor.

    摘要: A compressed air pump comprising a compressed air piston motor (11) having a cylinder housing (12) and a low pressure piston (22) moveable between first and second end wall parts (13, 14) and a hydraulic piston pump (15) in the second end wall part (14). One side of the low pressure piston and the first end wall part together define a working chamber (21) and the other side of the piston (22) abuts and drives the hydraulic piston (24). A pilot piston (25), which is controlled by the low pressure piston (22) controls the supply of compressed air to the working chamber (21). A spring powers the return stroke of the low pressure piston and the hydraulic piston. The pilot piston (25) is housed in a pilot cylinder (35) incorporated in the first end wall part (13) and is mounted for movement between a first position and a second position. In the first position compressed air can be passed from an inlet (17) in the end wall part to the working chamber. In the second position the supply of compressed air is interrupted and an outlet opening (31) located between the working chamber (21) and an outlet (32) is opened so that return air can be evacuated. The pilot piston (25) has mounted therein a control piston (26) which is connected to the low pressure piston (22) and which controls the pilot piston to cause it to move from the first to the second position by opening a compressed air connection (41) to the pilot piston's working chamber (36).

The shift canister assembly may include a shift canister and a shift canister cap attached thereto, the shift canister cap comprising the sealing surface. Reciprocating fluid pumps include a shift canister, a shift piston at least partially disposed within the shift canister, and a shift canister cap attached to the shift canister on a longitudinal end of the shift canister opposite the shift piston.     摘要: A pulsatile pump the output of which is infinitely variable between a slow pulsatile flow and increased up to a sharply pulsed flow rate until the pulses run together and a smooth flow results, and which may be varied between wide output pressure and frequency limits. The pump is comprised of a pneumatic control circuit, at least two pneumatically isolated compression chambers, and a novel inlet/outlet pump cartridge and condition-responsive locking means. Operation of the pump is controlled by the use of novel tactile pneumatic response switches. Each compression chamber is communicated with a supply of working fluid through the cartridge. Means are provided for varying the operation of the pneumatic circuit and hence the pump. A flow of pressurized fluid, such as air or nitrogen, is used as the operating media of the pneumatic circuit, although other fluids may be used. Means for monitoring and adjusting pump system parameters are also provided. The pump operates entirely through the use of pneumatic energy, avoiding the use of electricity.

    摘要: A reciprocating device comprising a housing having a chamber and a reciprocable member reciprocable in the chamber. First and second pressure valves are connectible to a source of fluid under pressure to drive the reciprocable member and first and second passages lead from the first and second pressure valves to the chamber on opposite sides of the reciprocable member, respectively. First and second exhaust valves are coupled, respectively, to the first and second passages at locations intermediate the associated pressure valve and the chamber and communicating with the first and second vents, respectively. Actuators are drivable by the piston for switching the valves between first and second positions, and the fluid under pressure retains the valves in whichever of the positions they are placed.
