摘要: A screw compressor includes a compressor housing defining a working chamber, the housing including a plurality of bores; a first rotor having helical threads, the first rotor being housed in a first of the plurality of bores; a second rotor having helical threads intermeshing with the helical threads of the first rotor, the second rotor being housed in a second of the plurality of bores; an inlet port that receives a fluid to be compressed; an outlet port that receives a compressed fluid; and an intermediate discharge port disposed between the compression chamber and the outlet port, the intermediate discharge port including a sealing member and a biasing mechanism, fluid flow being prevented between the compression chamber and the intermediate discharge port when in a flow-blocked state, and fluid flow being enabled from the compression chamber through the intermediate discharge port when in a flow-permitted state.

摘要: A compressor may include first and second scrolls, and an axial biasing chamber. Spiral wraps of the scrolls mesh with each other and form compression pockets including a suction-pressure compression pocket, a discharge-pressure compression pocket, and intermediate-pressure compression pockets. The axial biasing chamber may be disposed axially between the second end plate and a component. Working fluid disposed within the axial biasing chamber may axially bias the second scroll toward the first scroll. The second end plate includes outer and inner ports. The outer port is disposed radially outward relative to the inner port. The outer port may be open to a first one of the intermediate-pressure compression pockets and in selective fluid communication with the axial biasing chamber. The inner port may be open to a second one of the intermediate-pressure compression pockets and in selective fluid communication with the axial biasing chamber.

摘要: The invention relates to an assembly comprising a vacuum pump and a chamber, wherein a suction tract extends between the chamber and the vacuum pump. The vacuum pump is a liquid ring machine. According to the invention, a liquid outlet is arranged in the suction tract in order to add liquid to gas sucked in from the chamber. The invention further relates to a method for evacuating a chamber filled with vapor. According to the invention, the vapor is condensed by introducing additional liquid into the suction tract, thus by co-condensation. By supplying liquid selectively only when liquid is required for the condensation of the vapor, water is saved.

摘要: A control mechanism for a fluid displacement apparatus is disclosed. The control mechanism controls fluid communication between an intemediate pressure chamber and a suction chamber of the fluid displacement apparatus, which has a communication channel extending between the intermediate pressure chamber and the suction chamber. The mechanism includes a first valve element having a cylinder and a piston slidably disposed within the cylinder between positions corresponding to maximum and reduced displacement of the compressor. This movement defines a maximum amplitude of the compressor. The cylinder has a bottom wall seperating the cylinder chamber from the suction chamber. A hole is formed in a wall between the cylinder chamber and the intermediate pressure chamber. A distance between the bottom wall and the hole is designed to be greater than the maximum amplitude to prevent the piston from striking the bottom wall. Different shapes may be used for the hole to change the nature of the transition from maximum to reduced displacement.

摘要: The invention relates to a rotary displacement compressor having volume ratio regulation. A connection channel (8,9,10) connects the working space of the compressor to the pressure channel (5). In the channel (8,9,10) there is provided means (13) for sensing the direction of flow through the channel. The direction of flow is an indication of whether there is over or under compression. Signals from the flow direction sensing means (13) affect the position of a movable edge (29) of the outlet port (32) so that this edge (29) will move to a position where the internal compression complies with the outlet pressure. By using the direction of flow as the governing parameter for the volume ratio regulation instead of the pressure difference or the power consumption of the prime mover according to known technique, a more accurate adaption of the volume ratio to the outlet pressure is achieved.

摘要: A variable displacement vane compressor for an air conditioning system used in an automobile has a cylinder assembly having a bore in which a rotor (7) is received to form at least one crescent chamber (R1, R2) between the rotor (7) and the bore. The cooling capacity is adjusted in accordance with a cooling load of the air conditioning system by displacement of an annular plate member (21) for controlling the amount of refrigerant introduced into a crescent chamber (R1, R2). The annular plate member (7) is driven by a driving units (25, 25a, 26, 27, 28, S1, S2) in which a dynamic pressure balance between a first compartment (S1) to which a refrigerant gas under a discharging pressure is introduced, and of a second compartment (S2) to which an oil under a discharging pressure is introduced. A sealing means (35a, 36) for preventing the leakage of the refrigerant gas from the high pressure region including the first compartment (S1) to the low pressure region is provided between the annular plate member (21) and a front end wall member (4) and an pressurized oil is supplied to the sealing means (35a, 36) to enhance the sealing effect of the sealing means (35a, 36).

摘要: A variable displacement vane compressor including a rotor rotatably supported between a pair of side plates secured to a cylinder, vanes movably supported in the rotor to define variable compression chambers in the cylinder, a reciprocally rotatable displacement control plate located between the rotor and one of the side plates for controlling the largest displacement of the compression chambers when closed, a spool chamber provided in one side plate and opposed to the displacement control plate, a spool which reciprocates in the spool chamber to define a first pressure chamber in which a refrigerant having a discharge pressure is introduced and a second pressure chamber in which an oil having the discharge pressure is introduced through a control valve unit in response to the suction pressure, the spool and the displacement control plate being interconnected by a connecting member and moving together, a seal ring between the displacement control plate and the one side plate, for isolating a high pressure area from a low pressure area, and feed passages for introducing the oil having the discharge pressure to the sealing ring. The one side plate has an elongated hole which permits movement of the connecting member extending therethrough, and the seal ring has a diameter smaller than that of an imaginary circle centered on the rotation axis of the rotor and circumscribing the elongated hole. The seal ring is eccentric to the rotation axis and includes the elongated hole in the seal ring.
