摘要： An oven has a muffle with a muffle upper side and a muffle ceiling and with a door. A radiant heating device is arranged on the muffle upper side or muffle ceiling, and extends in a surface area parallel to the muffle upper side and has a radiation direction downwards. Furthermore, a top heating device is arranged on the muffle upper side, which extends around the radiant heating device. The radiant heating device has a cover into the muffle or is covered thereby, wherein the cover is planar and closed, and is permeable for the heat radiating from the radiant heating device. The cover covers the radiant heating device, wherein the top heating device surrounds the radiant heating device or extends outside of it.

摘要： Systems and methods for user configurable cooking appliances include receiving system resources having associated budgets, facilitating user allocation the system resources to a plurality of heating elements without exceeding the associate budgets, applying the system resources to the heating elements to heat one or more food substances within a cooking chamber, and selectively regulating delivery of the system resources to the heating elements such that no more than the associated budget of each of the system resources is delivered to the heating elements. Computing components can execute a heating algorithm to cook at least one food substance in the cooking chamber, detect a state change of the food substance, and modify the heating algorithm to reconfigure the system resources supplied to the heating elements in response to the state change and in accordance with user configured allocation and associated budgets for the system resources.

摘要： An electric grill with a cooking surface for cooking food, which cooking surface has at least two adjacent heating zones is disclosed. Each heating zone of the grill is assigned a first electrical heating element 8 for heating the cooking surface in this heating zone, H1, H2. The grill 1 has a heating element switchover feature, such that, when a second heating element 9 is switched on in a heating zone H1 with two heating elements 8, 9, a power corresponding to the power input of the second heating element 9 that is switched on or to be switched on is switched off on first heating elements 8 in one or more other heating zones H1, or switching on such power is blocked.
