摘要: This document describes a waveguide with radiation slots and parasitic elements for asymmetrical coverage. An apparatus may include a waveguide for providing asymmetrical coverage in an azimuth plane. The waveguide includes a hollow channel containing a dielectric and an array of radiation slots through a surface that is operably connected with the dielectric. The waveguide includes an array of parasitic elements positioned on or in the surface and offset from a longitudinal side of the array of radiation slots. The radiation slots and parasitic elements configure the described waveguide to focus an antenna radiation pattern that provides an asymmetrical coverage to focus on a particular portion within the antenna field-of-view.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention include a microelectronic device that includes a first substrate having radio frequency (RF) components and a second substrate that is coupled to the first substrate. The second substrate includes a first conductive layer of an antenna unit for transmitting and receiving communications at a frequency of approximately 4 GHz or higher. A mold material is disposed on the first and second substrates. The mold material includes a first region that is positioned between the first conductive layer and a second conductive layer of the antenna unit with the mold material being a dielectric material to capacitively couple the first and second conductive layers of the antenna unit.

摘要: The present invention addresses the problem of providing an installation body that, irrespective of the relative angle between a transmitter and a receiver, enables reduction in size and thickness of the transmitter and simultaneously enables improving of the probability of being able to achieve better reception of radio waves transmitted by the transmitter. In order to solve this problem, the installation body according to the present invention is provided with a conductor that is located in the vicinity of an antenna of the transmitter, in a state in which the transmitter is disposed in proximity to the installation body. The conductor is configured such that an induction current is generated therein by a drive current of the antenna. The induction current has a current component in a direction different from the direction of the drive current.

摘要: A multiple input, multiple output (“MIMO”) antenna system is provided for operation on a radio frequency (“RF”) module that may be used in a wireless access device. The MIMO antenna system includes a plurality of multi-band antenna elements connected to a radio in a MIMO configuration. The multi-band antenna elements and the radio are configured to operate on an RF module. A reflector is formed on the RF module to contain the plurality of multi-band antenna elements and a common director is positioned in front of the multi-band antenna elements to concentrate signal communication in a sector. The plurality of multi-band antenna elements are oriented to provide a sector coverage pattern formed by beam patterns generated by each of the multi-band antenna elements.

摘要: The present invention relates to a folded dipole antenna comprising a magnetic material comprising a hexagonal Z-type ferrite and/or a hexagonal Y-type ferrite as a main component in which a radiation element and a reflection element each having a folded dipole structure are disposed, and an RF tag comprising the folded dipole antenna and an IC chip connected to the folded dipole antenna. The RF tag according to the present invention has a smaller size than that of the conventional RF tags and is not susceptible to adverse influence from ambient environments, and can be operated at an UHF band or surrounding frequency bands thereof.
