Abstract:
A method for multi-layer printing on a support, comprising a first printing step performed in a printing station in a system, one or more subsequent printing steps that are performed in one or more subsequent printing stations in the system and a plurality of alignment steps performed in the system, wherein the alignment steps are used to effect the correct positioning of a material printed in a subsequent printing step. The method comprises, downstream of each printing step and upstream of each alignment step, a control step in which detection devices detect the position of a layer printed on a support and/or the position of the support in the system by use of a control unit that compares at least one of the positions detected with predefined positions and/or with the positions detected in the previous control step, and wherein the results of the comparison are used in the alignment step.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an apparatus (1) for curing a substance (2a, 2b, 2c) at an organic substrate (2), the substance comprising a metal complex, the apparatus comprising a first radiation facility (3) for preparing the substance by exposure to UV-radiation and second radiation facility (4) for subsequently pulse-wise exposing the prepared substance with photon radiation having a wavelength in the visible range. The present invention further provides a method of curing a substance at an organic substrate, the substance comprising a metal complex, the method comprising the steps of - preparing the substance by exposure to UV radiation, - radiating the prepared substance with pulsed photon radiation substantially having a wavelength in the visible range.
Abstract:
A method of fabricating packaging for a product comprises forming a plurality of conductive tracks on a sheet of material and forming a physical barrier, such as a hole, for impeding fluid flow between adjacent conductive tracks. The method may furthercomprise depositing first and second regions conductive fluid onto adjacent first and second conductive tracks either sideof the physical barrier and mounting an electronic device having first and second terminals such that the electronic device forms a bridge over the physical barrier and the first ands second terminals contact the first and second conductive adjacent tracks.
Abstract:
An article of manufacture having an in-molded capacitive switch and method of making the same are shown and described. In one disclosed method, a conductive ink sensing zone is printed on a film. The film is formed to a desired shape and put in an injection mold. A molten plastic material is introduced into the injection mold to form a rigid structure that retains the film.
Abstract:
A method of printing chipless RFID tags with unique features, includes printing a RFID antenna pattern precursor (1) using a first printing process, wherein the RFID antenna pattern precursor (1) includes a plurality of disconnected wire segments (2); and printing a conductive ink using a second printing process to interconnect at least two of the plurality of disconnected wire segments (2), to produce a final RFID antenna with a unique antenna geometry.
Abstract:
Abstract:
In a method in the fabrication of a ferroelectric memory device comprising a memory layer sandwiched between first and second electrode sets, the memory layer as well as both electrode sets are each realized in the memory device by a suitable printing process.
