Abstract: A laminated plate includes first and second plates bonded to each other via an intermediate layer. Abstract: Grid structure, such as a lattice or grid-stiffened structure and a process of manufacturing such a grid structure. Fiber material is laid up on a base tool to form intersecting ribs defining a grid with a plurality of cavities. In the same step fiber material is laid to form one or more; local substructures. Blocks are placed, at the positions of the cavities. The fiber material of the ribs and the local substructures is impregnated with a resin. Optionally, one or more layers of fiber material are placed on the base tool and/or over the ribs and the blocks to form an outer skin. Abstract: An object is to provide an exterior cover for a straddled vehicle which enables promotion of further weight reduction while ensuring rigidity and toughness. An exterior cover 50 for a straddled vehicle includes an integral layered resin portion 63 where: a first resin layer 62 and a second resin layer 61 are layered on and integrally molded with each other; and the first resin layer 62 made of resin with a crystalline structure is thinner than the second resin layer 61 made of a resin having a Young's modulus lower than that of the first resin layer 62. In a first cross-section of the exterior cover cut in a first direction crossing an exterior surface of the exterior cover 50, the integral layered resin portion 63 formed of the first resin layer 62 and the second resin layer 61 which are integrally molded into the layered structure forms: a cover main body 51 U (or 51 D) on which the exterior surface is formed; and two first bending portions 54U (or 54D) respectively formed into bent shapes at both end portions of the cover main body 51 U (or 51 D).

Abstract: A conveyor belt including a pulley cover layer, a carry cover layer, and at least one reinforcement layer disposed within the belt between the pulley cover layer and the carry cover layer. The belt has a first edge section, a second edge section, and a load carrying section. The first edge section and the second edge section are located on each side of the conveyor belt, and the load carrying section is located between the first second edge sections. The reinforcement layer is comprised of a woven fabric which has weft threads extending across the width of the belt and passing into both the first edge section and the second edge section of the conveyor belt. The woven fabric also has warp threads located in the load carrying section of the conveyor belt extending longitudinally throughout the belt without passing into either the first or the second edge section.

Abstract: A floor panel has a substrate and a decorative layer of wood veneer having a thickness of 1 millimeter or less provided on the substrate. The substrate has an average density of more than 750 kilograms per cubic meter. The decorative layer is provided on the substrate by means of a layer on the basis of thermosetting resin situated between the substrate and the decorative layer. A method for manufacturing such floor panels including a structured veneer surface that can be obtained according to the arrangement of the aforementioned floor panel.
