PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle that can quickly warm-up the catalyst and quickly complete warming-up the catalyst, while outputting desired driving force from the engine.SOLUTION: There is provided the drive device of the vehicle. The drive device controls the engine to execute the catalyst warming-up operation when the driving force demanded by a user is equal to or less than the total of a driving force of the engine under the catalyst warming-up operation and the maximum permissible output of the capacitor, interrupts the operation for catalyst warming-up and switches to operation for traveling, when the driving force demanded by a user is larger than the total of a driving force of the engine under the catalyst warming-up operation and the maximum permissible output of the capacitor, and raises the instructed driving force of the engine at a prescribed rate, when the user demanded driving force is satisfied by the total of the engine output under traveling operation and the maximum allowance output of the capacitor, and operation emphasized on power performance by user under the traveling operation of the engine.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a power performance by taking full advantage of the capability of a plurality of power storage devices and adequately protect each component from overcurrent in a load driving device containing the plurality of power storage devices connected in parallel.SOLUTION: A Wout calculation part 104 adds limit values Wout1 and Wout2 of each power storage device and calculates an output power limit value Wout of a power storage part. An excess current FB control part 108 executes excess current FB control when at least one of current IB1,IB2, and IBT exceeds a predetermined threshold value. A Woutf correction processing part 112 corrects the output power limit value Woutf given to a motor power calculation part 110 to a motor power command value Pm at the timing when at least one of the current IB1,IB2, and IBT reaches the threshold value.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle internal combustion engine control device which is able to alleviate driver's uncomfortable feeling caused by an engine start while the vehicle is driven.SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 includes an internal combustion engine 3 and a second motor generator MG2 as power sources for rotating drive wheels 7. When the engine is to be started while the vehicle is driven, if a required vehicle driving force TRQ is smaller than or equal to a predetermined value TRQth, an electronic control unit 20 estimates that the degree of deformation of a mount 11 is smaller than or equal to a predetermined degree and sets a second-cycle fuel injection amount Q2 to be larger than a first-cycle fuel injection, amount Ql at the time of the engine start (Q2>Q1). On the other hand, if the required vehicle driving force TRQ is larger than the predetermined value TRQth, the electronic control unit 20 estimates that the degree of deformation of the mount 11 is larger than the predetermined degree and sets the first-cycle fuel injection amount Ql to be larger than the second-cycle fuel injection amount Q2 at the time of the engine start.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress sudden change of operating points of an internal combustion engine which may occur when a travel mode is changed in the midst of operating the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: When the travel mode is switched over in the midst of traveling by operating the engine, charging and discharging request power Pb* is set by slowly changing by the rate limit processing (S750-S800). The engine request power is set as the sum of charging and discharging request power Pb* and power for traveling, and the engine and two motors are controlled to travel by the power for traveling, while the engine is operated on an operating point obtained by operation line with the application of the engine request power. Since the engine request power is also slowly changed by slowly changing the charging and discharging request power Pb*, sudden change of the operating point of the engine can be suppressed.

An engine operation determiner 156 determines whether to operate the engine ENG in a load operation or not, based on W0 when the driving mode is CS mode and on W1 when the driving mode is CD mode. When the engine ENG operates in a non-load operation, the engine operation determiner 156 determines whether to operate the engine ENG in the load operation or not, based on W0 even when the driving mode is the CD mode.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable energy management and power management even in case that a discrepancy arises between an output power from a converter operating in a power control mode and a power command, in a power supply system which is equipped with a plurality of electric storage devices and a plurality of converters. SOLUTION: The power supply system of a vehicle includes a plurality of electric storage devices, which include a first electric storage device 110 and a second electric storage device 120, a plurality of converters, and a controller 190. The plurality of converters include a first converter 140 which is provided to correspond to the first electric storage device 110 and the voltage of which is controlled, and a second converter 150 which is provided to correspond to the second electric storage device 120 and the voltage of which is controlled. Then, the controller 190 sets the power command of the second converter 150 by modifying the power target value of the second electric storage device 120 based on the quantity of a difference between the power command of the second converter 150 and the actual input-output power value of the second electric storage device 120. SOLUTION: An indicator 510 indicating a ratio between a first distance 501 including a distance by which this plug-in hybrid vehicle travels in a CS (Charge Sustaining) mode and a distance by which the plug-in hybrid vehicle travels in a state that an engine 100 is driven in a CD (Charge Depleting) mode, and a second distance 502 by which the hybrid vehicle travels in a state that the engine 100 stops in the CD mode, is displayed on a display 192. In the CS mode and the CD mode, the plug-in hybrid vehicle travels by driving force from one of the engine and a second MG (Motor Generator). SOLUTION: A monitoring unit 54 outputs a current detection value IB1 having a relatively wide measurement range and a short detection period and a current detection value IB2 having a relatively high resolution to charging ECU48. The charging ECU48 controls (protection control) a charger 44 so that a charging power is reduced when a charging current calculated by using the current detection value IB1 exceeds a prescribed limit value. The charging ECU 48 controls (full charging control) the charger 44 so that the energy storage device 10 becomes a prescribed full charging state based on a charging power calculated by using the current detection value IB2.
