Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of properly discharging oxygen from a three-way catalyst when starting an engine, even when a power mode is selected. SOLUTION: An electronic control unit 22 is provided with a normal mode, and a power mode wherein control characteristics are set so as to make a throttle opening larger as compared with the normal mode, as modes for deciding the control characteristics of a throttle valve 15 to accelerator operation amount. The electronic control unit 22 increases fuel injection amount when starting the engine to temporary make an air/fuel ratio rich, and discharges oxygen occluded by the three-way catalyst 21 for exhaust emission control during the stopping of the engine. The electronic control unit 22 controls the throttle valve 15 by the control characteristics of the normal mode, until a regular period has passed since the engine starts, even if the power mode is set. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the vibration of a vehicle due to counter torque in a vehicle where the output of counter torque to cancel torque at the time of initial explosion of an internal combustion engine from a motor is controlled. SOLUTION: This hybrid card 20 includes an engine 22 and motors MG1 and MG2 for making the motor MG2 output counter torque to cancel torque in the case of initial explosion of the engine 22. A hybrid ECU 70 judges whether or not predetermined conditions under which torque at the time of initial explosion of the engine 22 is estimated to be small are satisfied, and when judging that the predetermined conditions are satisfied, the hybrid ECU 70 inhibits the output of the counter torque. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve proper learning by suppressing the variation of the learning value of idle controlled variables in a vehicle equipped with: an engine which is able to output a power to a vehicle axial side; and a motor which is able to output a power through a transmission to the vehicle axial side. SOLUTION: When the idle operation of an engine is performed under traveling (S410, S420), and a transmission is put in the status of an Lo gear not just before Hi-Low speed change has been performed (S430 to S450), a value 1 is set in a learning decision flag F1 (step S460), and the learning of idle controlled variables is executed. Thus, it is possible to suppress the variation of a learning value based on the status of a transmission in comparison with the case of achieving learning regardless of the Lo gear and Hi gear, and to achieve proper learning. SOLUTION: In a hybrid car 20, when a deceleration request based on accelerator OFF is made when S position is selected where the arbitrary selection of shift positions SP1 to SP6 is permitted, and fuel cut can not be inhibited from the status of a battery 50, an engine 22 and motors MG2 and MG2 are controlled so that a driving force based on a request torque Tr* can be output according to fuel cut (S410, S420, S360 to S400). When the fuel cut can be inhibited from the status of the battery 50, the engine 22 actually and independently operates at the target speed Ne0, and the engine 22 and the motors MG1 and MG2 are controlled so that the driving force based on the request torque Tr* can be outputted (S340 to S400). SOLUTION: An automobile 20 is provided with an engine 22 provided with a cylinder fuel injection valve 25 connected to a delivery pipe 66 provided with a fuel pressure sensor 69 and injecting fuel supplied by a fuel pump 62. The automobile 20 improves startability of the engine 22 by driving a fuel pump 62 before driving a high pressure pump 64 and performing pre-supply process supplying fuel to the high pressure pump 64 when it is judged that fuel does not leak from the cylinder fuel injection valve 25 at a time of start of the engine 22. On the other hand, the pre-supply process is not performed to inhibit fuel leak from the cylinder fuel injection valve 25 when it is judged that fuel leaks from the cylinder fuel injection valve 25. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device for a vehicle capable of maintaining good exhaust emission property upon starting of an engine by improving oil tightness in each injector while the vehicle operation is stopped. SOLUTION: On the downstream side of a low pressure fuel pump 180 for discharging fuel inside a fuel tank 200 at a predetermined pressure, a low pressure delivery pipe 160 which is a tubular body having the injector 120 for intake air passage injection formed therein, a fuel pressure regulator 170, a high pressure fuel pump 155, a high pressure delivery pipe 130 which is a tubular body having the injector 110 for cylinder injection formed therein, and an electromagnetic relief valve 210 are connected in series. By releasing the electromagnetic relief valve 210 when operation of the engine is stopped, fuel pressure inside the high pressure delivery pipe 130 can be lowered corresponding to the stop of the low pressure fuel pump 180, so that oil tightness of each of the injectors 110 and 120 can be secured. SOLUTION: In an automobile provided with an air-conditioner for heating a cabin with an engine as the heat source, fuel consumed by the engine is computed as fuel consumed not for traveling, when the cabin is heated by the air conditioner, the engine is running, and the vehicle is parked. The computed fuel is displayed as the fuel consumption of air-conditioning in parallel with the amount of fuel consumed by the overall vehicle on a display installed in the cabin. It is thereby possible to notify the driver and the passengers, of the amount of fuel consumed not for traveling, after comparing with the amount of fuel consumed by the vehicle as a whole. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress excessive temperature rise of an engine and a motor when abnormality of control signal for controlling drive of a cooling fan used for cooling of the engine, the motor or the like occurs. SOLUTION: This system determines whether abnormality exists in data input for controlling drive of the cooling fan (step S100, S110). If existence of abnormality is determined, drive level F* of the cooling fan is established to High (Hi) (step S130), and a fan motor is controlled to drive the cooling fan at established drive level F* (step S140).
