    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain marked fuel consumption reduction while securing favourable operability. SOLUTION: This system is furnished with a first motor 9 capable of being connected to a crankshaft 1a by a clutch 10 as well as capable of driving auxiliary equipment 2 and a second motor 8 connected to a speed reduction and differential gear part 6. At the time of reducing speed, an engine stall is prevented until a vehicle stops by regenerating it by the second motor 8 and motoring an engine 1 by the first motor 9 and at the time of stopping the vehicle, fuel injection during speed reduction and vehicle stopping is stopped by giving creeping force to the vehicle by the second motor 8 while driving the auxiliary equipment by the first motor 9. At the time of transferring from motoring to engine stopping, fastening force is gradually lowered by duty-controlling the clutch 10, optimum sequential injection is carried out at the time of restarting by making a stopping position of a cylinder clear by preventing reverse rotation of the engine 1, and favourable startability and further fuel reduction is provided.
