    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control apparatus which suitably controls activation of the electronic control apparatus mounted on a vehicle with a user validation apparatus according to an operating state. SOLUTION: An engine ECU 4 is activated by an IG signal from a key cylinder 1 or an activation signal from a soak IC41. When activated by the IG signal, communication with an immobilizer ECU3 is started by a communication circuit 47, and the engine is started when succeeded in the user validation.
