Abstract:
In goods genuineness/counterfeit discrimination using IC tags (202), contradictory problems of the reliability and lifetime of the IC tags and the accuracy of goods genuineness/counterfeit discrimination are solved and circulation of a goods (201) mounted with defective IC tags (202) is prevented. A ratio of a number (B) of IC tags (202) having sent information indicative of the fact that the IC tags are mounted on the same object member (201) to a number (A) of IC tags (202) from which the information is to be sent originally is determined and the genuineness/counterfeit discrimination is performed with the ratio. With regard to adopting combination of genuineness/counterfeit discrimination, information necessary for detection is added to a goods (201) and information of the inspection area is stored in the IC tags. When the number of defective IC tags is large, a goods (201) mounted with the IC tags (202) is collected.
Abstract:
In order to eliminate limitation upon the frequency of a carrier wave from externally, this IC chip for identification includes: a power supply section which receives this carrier wave from outside and creates an internal power supply; a clock signal generation section for read out which generates an internal clock signal for read out based upon a clock signal pulse which is superimposed upon an optical signal from externally; a memory section; and an output section which serially reads out data in the memory section according to the internal clock signal for read out, and load modulates the carrier wave from outside based thereupon.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a discrimination method for discriminating securities or bank notes with an embedded IC chip; that it may take a longer time than the ordinary discrimination method, while a large degradation of speed in carrying the securities or the bank notes may cause a delay in transaction processing, resulting in inconvenience to users; and that there is a demand for positively utilizing highly accurate discrimination by use of the IC chip, while it takes a long time to popularize the securities and the bank notes having embedded IC chips sufficiently among the actual users in the market. SOLUTION: A security grade of highly valuable securities and bank notes can be made preferentially higher according to a distribution state of, for example, bank notes with IC chips. By reading in advance the ID information of an IC chip, and making an inquiry of the ID information to a center, acquiring a discrimination result other than using the IC chip while the inquiry to the center is being performed, and by comparing the discrimination result with the above inquiry result, the discrimination accuracy is improved through the discrimination using the IC chip, while the carrying speed is maintained.
