摘要:
A process for producing a Group II metal sulfide phosphor precursor, comprising adding to an organic solvent an aqueous solution containing at least one of a Group II element compound, a sulfurizing agent, and a compound containing any of copper, silver, manganese, gold, and rare-earth elements to obtain a reaction mixture, heating the reaction mixture to produce an azeotrope of the water and the organic solvent, and removing water from the reaction mixture to produce a desired Group II metal sulfide in the reaction mixture, wherein the removal of water from the reaction mixture occurs by recovering only the water condensed from a vapor produced by the azeotropic distillation.

An oxygen absorption resin composition is provided that comprises a thermoplastic resin (A) having carbon-carbon double bonds substantially in its main chain and a transition metal salt (B). If necessary, the composition further comprises a gas barrier resin (C), a compatibilizer (D) and the like. The composition has excellent oxygen absorption properties, and when the composition is employed, generation of odorous substances derived from the decomposition of resins as a result of oxygen absorption can be suppressed.
摘要:
A method for producing a polyvinyl acetal resin is provided which is characterized in that a polyvinyl alcohol and a carbonyl compound are reacted at 40 to 200° C. in a liquid containing water and/or an alcohol as solvents in the presence of an acid catalyst including carbon dioxide. By this method, a polyvinyl acetal resin having a halogen element content of ppm or less and an alkali metal element content of 1000 ppm or less can be obtained without particularly performing washing operations. Therefore, a method for producing a polyvinyl acetal resin containing only little impurities such as metal salts and acids is provided.

An oxygen absorber of the present invention includes at least one compound represented by Formula (1): and an oxidizable polymer. R1 and R2 each independently indicates a hydrogen atom or an organic group. R1 and R2 may form a ring together with carbon atoms to which they are bonded. R1 and/or R2 may form a carbon-carbon double bond with carbon atoms to which they are bonded.

An inspection device for inspecting projections of a part which can be applied to a variety of parts having projections on the surface thereof such as leads of electronic parts having varying shapes. The inspection device includes a member having a two-dimensional surface to which projections of the part are two-dimensionally pressed at a predetermined pressure, and an arrangement for detecting a pressure distribution pattern on the surface of the member as well as a converter for converting the detected pattern to two-dimensional pattern information. Further, a memory is provided for storing a reference pattern of the projections of the part so that inspection may be effected by comparing the reference pattern with the converted two-dimensional pattern information.

The process of the invention is provided to achieve uniform doping of an activator metal into phosphor particles and to improve efficiency of utlization of a metal element to be used in the production of a Group II metal sulfide phosphor and a precursor thereof. Specifically, the object of the invention is achieved by a process for producing a Group II metal sulfide phosphor precursor, comprising adding to an organic solvent an aqueous solution containing at least one of a Group II element compound, a sulfurizing agent, and a compound containing any of copper, silver, manganese, gold, and rare-earth elements to obtain a reaction mixture, heating the reaction mixture to produce an azeotrope of the water and the organic solvent, and removing the water from the reaction mixture to produce a desired Group II metal sulfide in the reaction mixture, wherein the removal of the water from the reaction mixture is carried out by recovering only the water condensed from a vapor produced by the azeotropic distillation.

A target capsule includes (A) a pedestal having a central projection, (B) a pedestal aid attached to the central projection so as to define a sample-loading assembly, and (C) an impact-receiving member, wherein the components (A), (B), and (C) are detachable from each other. The impact target capsule can be readily loaded with a sample, allows the sample to be easily retrieved after application of impact pressure, and can be used repeatedly, and thereby the capsule can be preferably used as an impact compression apparatus in combination with a single-stage powder gun or a single-stage gas gun.
