    Abstract: A plurality of UAVs may be operated in a fleet, each of the UAVs in the fleet being configured to work collectively to achieve one or more functions, such as to create a display or implement an antenna array. The fleet of UAVs may operate individually and/or may be coupled to one another to operate as a collective unit. In some embodiments, one or more UAVs in the fleet may operate individually, while two or more UAVs in the fleet may be connected to one another. In such embodiments, the individual UAVs and the connected UAVs may together comprise the fleet.

    Abstract: Antenna structures and methods of operating an antenna of an electronic device are described. A system may include an antenna comprising a plurality of physically connected elements. The elements may include a respective electrical switch and may have a respective first electrical path length when the electrical switch is in a non-conductive state and a respective second electrical path length when the electrical switch is in a conductive state. The system may further include an antenna controller to receive information indicative of an operating frequency and to configure the antenna to have a total electrical path length corresponding to the operating frequency by operating the switches.

    Abstract: Antenna structures and methods of operating the same of an electronic device are described. One wearable electronic device includes a housing of conductive material and an antenna structure disposed on or within a band that is used to affix to a user. The antenna structure includes a first connector, a second connector, and a first antenna element. The first and second connectors extend out from sides of the band and electrically couple to a RF feed and a ground point when the first and second connectors are physically coupled to the housing. The RF circuitry is operable to cause a first current flow on at least the first antenna element via the first connector to radiate electromagnetic energy in a first frequency range.

    Abstract: Antenna structures and methods of operating the same of an electronic device are described. One apparatus includes a circuit board and an antenna having a ground element disposed on the circuit board. A ground-extension bracket is coupled to the ground element and oriented orthogonally to the circuit board. The antenna further includes a radiating element disposed on the circuit board and oriented linearly with respect to the ground-extension bracket. The antenna, in response to a radio frequency (RF) signal, is configured to radiate electromagnetic energy in a radiation pattern at an angle of polarization with respect to a plane of the circuit board, where the angle of polarization is acute and angled towards the ground-extension bracket.
