    Abstract: A mechanism is described for facilitating dynamic game surface adjustment at smart play surfaces of smart play sets according to one embodiment. A method of embodiments, as described herein, includes receiving one or more inputs to perform an action at a portion of a play surface of a play set; evaluating the one or more inputs for generating an action plan to perform the action at the portion of the play surface, where the action plan is to affect one or more objects acting on the surface. The method may further include executing the action at the portion of the surface, wherein the action to adjust one or more properties of the play surface.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus relating to efficient and/or robust link power management of a UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) interface are described. In an embodiment, logic causes a link to enter into a low power consumption state in response to a message exchange over data lines of a UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) interface. The message exchange over the data lines of the UART interface is followed by a modification to one or more flow control signals coupled to the UART interface. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system for sensor-based objective determination. In general, sensor data may be used to render objective determinations that were not previously possible due to the unavoidable subjectivity of human-based officiating systems. For example, at least one device may be configured to make objective determinations during the course of a sporting event. Data collection circuitry may receive data from sensor devices coupled to players, equipment, playing surfaces, etc. Data analysis circuitry may categorize the data and input the data into a model to determine if an infraction occurred. For example, categorization may involve determining a type of infraction that may have occurred based on the sensor data. The model may then be selected based on the type of infraction, the model being developed utilizing prior sensor data, rules for the sporting event, etc. Output circuitry may generate a notification based on the infraction determination.
