摘要: A decision feedback equalizing apparatus selectively using a feedback filter and a method thereof are provided. The apparatus includes: an equalizing unit including a feed forward filter (FFF) for correcting a distorted transmission channel by receiving a match-filtered signal and a feedback filter (FBF) for reducing inter symbol interference ISI of the corrected transmission channel for driving only the FFF in a blind mode and driving the FFF and the FBF in a decision directed mode; a diverge/converge determining unit for determining whether the decision feedback equalizing apparatus is diverged or converged using a unit square error obtained through a least unit square algorithm; and a filter controlling unit for controlling the equalizing unit in a blind mode if the decision feedback equalizing apparatus is determined as divergence, and for controlling the equalizing unit in a decision directed mode if the decision feedback equalizing apparatus is determined as convergence.

摘要: An apparatus for receiving data in a communication system includes: a detection unit configured to calculate power values of a data packet and a ratio of the power values by using a preamble of the data packet in a received signal, and detect the data packet through the calculated ratio of the power values; a control unit configured to calculate a gain compensation value of the detected data packet, and perform an automatic gain control (AGC) on the detected data packet by using the gain compensation value; a compensation unit configured to calculate a DC offset in the received signal, and remove the DC offset from the received signal; and a demodulator configured to demodulate the AGCed data packet.

摘要: A laser irradiation device includes a laser generator for patterning and a laser generator for preheating. A laser induced thermal imaging (LITI) method, includes preparing an acceptor substrate, laminating a donor substrate on the acceptor substrate, and irradiating a laser beam onto a predetermined region of the donor substrate and carrying out transfer using a laser irradiation device having a laser generator for patterning and a laser generator for preheating. Advantageously, a laser beam having high intensity generated by the laser generator for patterning is used to prevent the transfer layer from being degraded, and a laser beam generated by the laser generator for preheating is simultaneously used for preheating so that an edge open failure does not occur and the transfer can be readily carried out even in a portion having a step of the acceptor substrate.

摘要: A flat panel display includes a thin film transistor formed on a substrate; a planarization layer formed on the thin film transistor; a first electrode layer formed on the planarization layer and electrically connected with the thin film transistor through the via hole formed in the planarization layer; a pixel definition layer formed on the planarization layer and in which an opening for at least partially exposing the first electrode layer is formed; an adhesive reinforcement layer formed at least between the planarization layer and the pixel definition layer on the top of the planarization layer; an emitting layer formed on the first electrode layer; and a second electrode layer formed on the emitting layer and the pixel definition layer. The flat panel display has an improved adhesive property between a pixel definition layer and a planarization layer, which prevents a chipping phenomenon of the pixel definition layer.
