Abstract:
A memory system includes a memory module that includes a first memory device through a fourth memory device and a first error correction code (ECC) device, and a memory controller that exchanges first user data with each of the first memory device through the fourth memory device through 8 data lines and exchanges first ECC data with the first ECC device through 4 data lines. The memory controller includes an ECC engine that corrects a 32-random bit error of the first user data, based on the first ECC data.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for validating device-to-device (D2D) communication devices in a server via a mobile terminal are provided. A 1st device-to-device (D2D) communication device includes a communication unit for communicating with a mobile terminal via D2D communication, and a controller. The controller is configured to control the communication unit to transmit digital signature information of the 1st D2D communication device to the mobile terminal, receive, when the digital signature information is successfully authenticated in a server, server public encryption information, from the mobile terminal, and transmit device information of the 1st D2D communication device, which is encrypted using the server public encryption information, to the server, and register the 1st D2D communication device in the server. The method and apparatus reduce user input for registering D2D communication devices in a server, increases user convenience, and decrease authentication time.
Abstract:
An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a first antenna configured to communicate using a first frequency band group, a ground switch coupled to the first antenna, a second antenna configured to communicate using a second frequency band group, wherein the second antenna overlaps the first antenna, a band selection switch configured to select one of multiple radio frequency (RF) paths for the second frequency band group, and a processor. The processor implements the method, including determining a communication frequency band, when the communication frequency band is unsupported by the second antenna, identifying an RF path corresponding to the communication frequency band from among the multiple RF paths, and controlling the band selection switch to select the identified RF path for operative connection to the second antenna.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a technology for a sensor network, machine to machine (M2M) communication, machine type communication (MTC), and the Internet of things (IoT). The disclosure can be utilized in an intelligent service (smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security and safety-related services, and the like) based on the technology. A server control method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving, from at least one network hub, communication state information on at least one electronic device connected to the at least one network hub; determining, on the basis of the received communication state information, another network hub for a connection of a first electronic device connected to the network hub on which an abnormal operation of a certain network hub is sensed, if the abnormal operation is sensed; and transmitting a request for a connection of the first electronic device to the determined other network hub.
Abstract:
Disclosed are light emitting modules and automobile illumination devices including the same. The light emitting module comprises a module substrate, a light emitting device on the module substrate, and a light guide structure apart from the module substrate and in plan view surrounding the light emitting device. The light emitting device comprises a first pixel and a second pixel each including a light emitting diode (LED) chip that emits light whose wavelength falls within a range of blue color or ultraviolet ray, and a wavelength conversion material on a top surface of at least one of the first and second pixels.
